The Doomsday Prepper thread

A couple of weeks ago I helped my friend buy supplies for an upcoming mini-apocalypse. I thought I was pretty stupid, but stupid fun. Your gallons of water, your vitamins and minerals, your bags of rice and your canned goods... A rifle.
Anyways, now that we have this Corona virus here in Norway as well, I'm perhaps a little bit more inclined to maybe spending a few bucks on getting some essentials in case it would prove beneficial to stay indoors for an unknown period of time.
So, do any of you (looking at you, Americans) have some goods stored away for potential emergencies, and if so, what do you have in your little room of goodies?
And if not, what would you do in a potential time of crisis? Rob the local market? Live off of the land? Be a parasite on your paranoid but well-prepared neighbor?

You live off the land.
Buy extra blankets for a pillow fort and a lot of vodka so you have something to do in the pillow fort

Coffee devotees who grind their own beans to remember to plan for the loss of a powered grinder. A French press, kettle, and gas stove helped, but one outage I found myself using a mortar and pestle I have for spices, and that’s not easy work on whole coffee beans. At least I was just doing a coarse grind.

bottled water, sterno, camping stove, jerky, seeds, canned food that won't be disgusting cold... all the booze you can possibly drink, sharp objects, bang bangs, Matthew Broderick, candles, books.

well, i have plenty of camping equipment and more food than i could eat in a month. but in the event of a true apocalypse i figure i'd just as soon die. one thing i miss about the threat of nuclear annihilation is that it would be quick.

Look... everyone is going to be fine. Things like Corona are just part of "life in the big city" (as the philosopher TIm Dillon says).
I gave my heartfelt (and I hope true) answer on the ILF cast Handsome Casanova and I did recently (and if no one else does one soon... guess what? Sexy Casanova and I will do another one!) but the truth is... like every other facet of my life... I have 0 plan and 0 ambition to do anything. I'm a bad citizen of United States. 1. Never fired a weapon (I practice my own version of gun control where... I don't know how to use a gun!!! [this is joke... don't take this too seriously inb4 WHAT IF AN INTRUDER COMES IN! Again.. JOKE! It's fine. Life in the big city.]) 2. I don't have a plan for a fallout.
I don't care how scary the world gets. I'm 30 years old... I have never done homework a day in my life. I'm not starting now.. especially for what may appear to be the end of days. It's like the tale of the three little pigs. The first two pigs did dick... and they were fine.

For some reason I was roped into watching
Contagion over the Xmas holiday, so at least I'm prepared to pray 4 test monkeys while I eat cold cans of beans in my parent's basement.
Cold brew for a few months doesn't seem so bad, right?

I fully intend to hop in a jeep and roam the countryside with my alien gf in the aftermath of all of mankind being reduced to a primitive state. which I guess is also elon musk's plan now that I think about it.

Got one already!
So I can enjoy coffee for the short time until I decay in this horrible new world

I'm surprised coffee is an essential for so many of you in an emergency situation.

I love coffee and that doesn't even make the short list for me. I made cold brew tea this week which packed the same punch and wasn't even a competition how easy it was to make.
"Uhhhhhh... put tea bags in dah whutta..."
"Let it sit."
"Oh it's done...."
