hows everybody doin? whats new w/ yall?

i am glad to see this place is still alive
i popped in a few times to see what was happening over the past few years but never logged in
life is a crazy thing and its been a wild one on so many fronts. lots of change. just lots of everything.
i still think about this place a lot and what its meant to me
but i dont wanna do some trying to recapture some nostalgia kinda thing because those never really pan out to anything more

even tho maybe seems like the goings have slowed way down ehre
tbh i kinda think this is more my speed and maybe in some ways for the better?
some of the other forums / sm apps may have lots of ppl and interactions
but it never seems like they are actually communicating with one another
more like talking at each other or yelling into some kind of a digital void
which is all fine i guess but i usually fade out pretty quickly or never engage in the first place

i dunno maybe nice cozy forums will make a lil bit of a comeback ?
i can't be the only one who gets or is tired of the endless frenzied loop of insta, twitter etc

anyway stay fuzzy yall hope everyone is good :P

Seems like Discord almost gets some of the forum vibes these days but it's kind of a walled garden and people drift in and out.
I like a smaller party anyway.

yea discord seems okay but i agree w/ u
it gave me similar vibes but more like a chatroom
like ppl just talking into a void
maybe it was just the one i waded into briefly

i dunno i think maybe more the ppl involved is what sets the mood moreso than the format or anything
