I think we're all missing the main point here, which is that I had to read the tulpamancers section on the Wiki page for "tulpa" and now I wish I had never learned to read or be born.

i'm not saying Tibetan Buddhism --perhaps better put as Tibetan "Buddhism"--isn't somewhat creepy in its own right, but come on. these guys are fucking with stuff they don't understand that's way deeper than they realize.

This is really true. I've met a few that tried to go down those roads and it usually doesn't end well... I really think mystic/shamanic stuff is like jazz.. more than likely you are going to need a teacher or you will end up playing bad fusion which is more than likely less of a musical form than noise art...

I think what 01010111 is suggesting though is that sometimes it's fun to imagine chain of instrument, effects, and amplification and that doesn't mean you need to like buy all that shit. you can just manifest it in the dojo of your casino.
