Anyone know? I know Paul Westerberg used lots of alternate tunings...looking at videos it *seems* like Bob uses typical chord structures you see on standard tunings, but what the hell do I know?

I trust you!

I need to learn a few songs for a benefit show, and I think I've got the Bob parts...it hasn't been decided 100%. I'm thinking the ones on Stink are probably standard...

Nice song list!

You should add "Customer", Tommy's favorite song off of Sorry Ma, Forgot To Take Out The Trash.

I’ve put some effort into Paul but not enough on Bob. I would assume standard. There’s a story in “Our Band Could be Your Life” about Paul putting extra dots on Bob’s fretboard before a show and if utterly befuddled him. Not to cast shade, but that indicates a player who knew how to work a system he understood.

Ooo thanks for that :-)

I would definitely like to add a bunch more but I’m a “guest” guitarist for a trio…so…plus what we have is like a 10 minute set , if that.

I pretty much have bob’s parts down, definitely playing standard tuning. It’s hard to get the accidentals right though — but they’re probably intentionals haha
