For what it's worth, I didn't wait. I have one for bass. It's awesome. Tons of low end with the bandwidth switch over to the right (full range, I guess). I like the no diodes setting best - it is loud as all hell, though. Start with the volume low.
Usually when I get a new pedal for bass, it's just me appreciating the difference. The whole band actually noticed this one, though. I'm not much for describing tone, so I'm just going to repeat that it really sounds excellent. Better than I hoped. Highly recommended.
