I dropped them off to the tech last night, along with my Epi Thunderbird to both get a setup. He's going to drop the Avedissian pickups in there. I'll post some clips if it works out.

Tour with Crawl was a blast. What have I missed?

Here's a song from Crawl at the Maywood in Raleigh. There are practice spaces attached to the venue where CoC and Sourvein supposedly practice. Thought that was kinda cool.

Ax - I'm not sure exactly how the wattage thing works, but on amps I've looked at with the feature (because kids), it isn't a separate power section as far as I know, it always mentions reducing the plate voltage or some such shit as that.

Conk - Glad tour went well dude! Bummed I couldn't make the drive out to Raleigh and catch you guys. CoC and Sourvein probably do practice there. After living in NC all my life, I've still never seen CoC live...

I got the Ibanez GIO back from the tech, with the Avedissian pickups installed, all the guts replaced except the 3 way switch and new knobs for good measure. It actually sound totally usable now, so I think it was a good move considering it was all on trade and I didn't have to pay anything out of pocket for it and to have my Thunderbird setup as well. I'm going to try to write something with it by this weekend and post some clips.

Band is crazy good live. Super nice guys as well.

Anyone want an Orange CR120? I bought one only to realize it can't be used at less than 8 ohms. WTF. Will hook DR folks up.

It sounds cool, but I came to the determination that I like Strats better. Probably because I like the 2 position on a Strat better than the middle position on the Jazzmaster. The single coil tones of the JM definitely have their own unique mojo though.

Been considering buying one, how much are you asking for it? Is it one of the orange or black tolex ones?

Forgot to mention that yesterday I picked up this MKI Laney! And tonight I tried it out and it was so awesome sounding! Just plugged into my 4x12 with a boost and it was one of the best and loudest 100 watters I've heard! So stoked. I didn't take a pic with it set up on top of a cab, but here's when I picked it up:

(I also picked up that 370 right after, at a local shop!)
