My building is eventually getting sold by the bank so they're inspecting the building. They came in really quick twice, that was fine, but I'm just not sure if they've left the building and if I can smoke some weed yet.

Re: The spite, hate, rage, apathy and mild irritation thread
while away on ILF Em All,
this happened behind the organic food store I used to co-own:
yeah It is not my store anymore, but I put three years of my life in there,
and it is still my kids and their mom who spend parts of their life there....
also this is the second shed to be set fire to this year.
number one burnt to the ground.
gossip in the village points to the neighbour who is also a storeowner and wants to buy the house where the organic store is...
but of course nobody really knows...
so now we're sort of waiting for a third fire...

That is freaking crazy ProCarsteNation...sorry to hear that. Just seeing the building, it looked like a neat shop.

Found out that the reason expression control on the Warped Vinyl was so lame was because I had been plugging into the MIDI port not the Expression port because I can't read.

Fucking washer is on the fritz: it's either not draining or leaking. It isn't consistent either like I will work for like 3 loads and then not drain and then work for 2 loads again and start leaking from the bottom. My initial thought is he drain hose is clogged but why is it working sometimes.
Wife wants to call a repair guy but we are literally weeks from a temporary move into her grandmothers house (grandma is going to a retirement community and we are watching her house until her father decide to sell it and we can fix up and sell our house in the process). So I'm trying to ride it out and take it easy with the load size for the washer or just use a laundry mat so we don't have to spend the money.

It could be that something is intermittently clogging the drain pump.

Yea, something with the pump was my other guess. I'm just going to keep an eye on it and not be gentle with it but if it leaks or just drain again I will look under the hood. Just trying to avoid it because it's one of those two in one stacked washer dryers so it's a bitch to move around.

Re: The spite, hate, rage, apathy and mild irritation thread
So I got a new debit card and a credit card withing the last 2 weeks. This is my first credit card in 10 years (just got it to keep credit alive and be back on the grid). Swiped the credit card once just to test it for gas and never swiped the debit...(literally got one of them this week..less than 3 days ago)
Both stolen, everything emptied in retail stores 45 minutes away from me all while I was at a festival (with the cards on me). What the hell?
Luckily they knew it was fraud on both and it isn't going to affect anything. It is just strange though. Really strange. (somebody at the post office?)
Just a serious "what the fuck"...this was the first time I even left my block since I got the damn card...no chance to dupe or skim them...

Re: The spite, hate, rage, apathy and mild irritation thread
My son turns 3 on the 16th. It marks a year since I saw him last and I don't know when I will see him again. He lives halfway across the country and I can't go. I get to Skype with him Monday, which I'm sure will leave me catatonic, but I am trying not to get anxious beforehand. I love him so much, more than I love anything or anyone else in the world, but he is a thorn in my heart, a daily reminder of who I am. Of my failings, of my weakness, of the monstrosity I have inflicted on everyone around me. I love him and it hurts.

Re: The spite, hate, rage, apathy and mild irritation thread
While having felt very good myself for quite some time now, I kind of hit ground a bit today.
So many people around me seem unhappy, are ill or suffering from some kind of pain and it just really bothers me. To name a few: One of my closest and oldest friends is fighting a drug addiction which should've killed him many times, but hasn't, thankfully, but it really has changed him. Another just had a reoccurrence of a disease he fought and beat as a kid, after being completely free of it for many many years. A drummer I've played with quite a few years is having serious panic attacks again after finally getting rid of them 2 years ago and to top it off his, apparently his girlfriend has attempted suicide a few times this summer. I've had a recent suicide attempt in my family too. Sounds stupid, but it just kills me that I I can't sort their problems for them, cause that's what I normally do. When things aren't working it pisses me off and I take on a huge load of responsibility and sort it all. And I'm good at it. But ti just doesn't work that way with these things and it sucks. Can people please stop being miserable so we can deal with poverty and all the injustice in the world, please?

you can't carry all that weight. i have Huge issues the way you describe.. it's not a negative ,or cold thing to detach from most of that.
if it's effecting you to the point of that extreme. You come first. You have to.
i've gotten into fights with people in my Life recently. because i'm trying to care .. and it comes off wrong. and.. i really think hurts situations and pushes them into the sadness More. staying Positive and Listening is all you can do sometimes. even if it doesn't seem effective.
please take care and be well
