Forum configuration goes through "upper management", so defining your user rights (such as ability to create a topic) is well beyond standard moderator ability. It's further complicated by the fact that when logged in as oneself, it is impossible to SEE if other users cannot start a thread - because that power is already allocated through moderator powers. For all I know, my subforum suffers the same, but no one complains, so...

tl:dr, barking up the wrong tree, you need to poke the admin class to rave about the beauty you've beheld.

the big cartel is just for any spares i have in stock or for one-offs, limited run type deals.

ill update it via mailing list first...then post links on the AA facebook group/page. really dont have as much time as i used to to hang around gear forums, as theres so much social media/email etc taking up valuable building time.
