Ordered 2, because I think these will work wonderfully in pairs. May get another in green if everyone else has a chance to snatch theirs up.

Hooked mine up yesterday - looks and sounds great. Out of curiosity, is this only 9v or can it run on higher voltage? I can use all the headroom I can get...

mmm you *should* be able to go to 12v safely. i only tested the boards at 9v though.

this is the main opamp used, data sheet recommends only going to 12v. iirc the lowest voltage cap used is 16V so 12 should be good accross the board, but i would not go any higher.

if you really want a higher voltage version i can give you more details on what you would have to change, mostly the opamp and a few of the caps, you could get to 24v maybe without much effort, but the circuit was designed with pedalboards in mind which usually run on 9v.

Thanks! I'm probably using mine a little atypically due to my setup. I use guitar, keys, and a mic (trumpet, misc noises) in my setup, so I run those inputs into a little submixer with a mic pre. Then I send three parallel outputs from that mixer - one with just reverb/delay, and then two with weird glitchy stuff. I'm using the fewtility to mix those three parallel lines back into one summed output. Since it's coming after the initial submixer the level is a bit hotter than regular instrument level.

I think I'll be ok as it is, and I can always turn the submixer output down, but wanted to see if I could keep the gainstaging as even as possible.

BTW, the in/out switches are particularly handy in my setup because I can use them to easily mute the two weird parallel loops when necessary, without having to adjust the volume.

what voltage would be more ideal? like 25-30v? just curious for general use.

since i figured most people will use 9v i use one of the few audio specc'd opamps i could find that has output rail to rail (and can handle 9v) so you really get almost the full 9v of headroom, but if you used a larger voltage you probably don;t care about rail to rail since you have more range to play with already. you could actually probably use a cheaper opamp ironically. so in a sense the boards are optimized for lower voltages.

At least for me 18v would be easy, since you could just use two taps on a pedal power supply, rather than an external wall wart.
