I'm probably going to have to default say Electro Harmonix Frequency Analyzer. I barely use it anymore...but the memories. Still love it when I do bust it out.
Clean boost: does RMA Tetanus count? If not, LAL Angel Ring?

It remains the only EHX pedal I love, so I'll give the FA that!

DMM ruined me for other analog delays...next best thing to a legit tape echo like the EP-3 it attempts to emulate.
I'm on the other side of the fence, I'd sell a DMM for a digital in a heartbeat, I didn't like 'em when they were cheap (by delay standards of the day)!

The Elements. It's the only pedal I've owned that has worked every time for any instrument and situation I put it through/put through it
Every time I start redesigning my board in my head, every time I think "why not a clean start, build up from nothing", the Elements is the first thing that pops in my head that absolutely needs to stay
Also the pedal that changed my mind on clean blend

Haha, that's how I am with the King of Tone. I don't even use the overdrive side of the thing other than for those "epic, cheesy, 70's/80's" pentatonic guitar solos (and always WITH the PHI Echolution), but I've been brainwashed into thinking it always has to be there.
Incidentally, the clean boost side of the King of Tone is my only experience with a clean boost, but I LOVE it.

Re: The Favorite Pedal of All Time Thread
It is two bluesbreakers in one enclosure...with internal dipswitches to turn either of them to: Clean boost, Overdrive, or Distortion.
Analog.man claims they totally reworked the circuit from a marshall blues breaker...but that probably means they changed some resistor and capacitor values and called it unique. I'm not sure just how modified it is from Marshall's original pedal, cuz I haven't looked inside or searched the web for any schematics.
Long story short, its a "transparent overdrive" like the Klon...just based on a different circuit.

Analog Mike knows his shit, so I don't doubt it. Never used a bluesbreaker, though.

Re: The Favorite Pedal of All Time Thread
Indeed he does. All of the analog.man pedals on my board are world class, I can't deny that.
I think the reason its so sought after is that, whatever it is that it does, it makes you sound like you play better than you do. When you listen to it, it doesn't sound like there's even a pedal there...it just sounds like an awesome player, running an awesome guitar, into an awesome amp...and that's kinda like the holy grail of overdrive, I think...especially for a mediocre player such as myself.
If I were more of a dirt player, it would probably be my "favorite pedal of all time".

They do sound fantastic. I didn't think I'd be too bowled over by it, but I got an email notification that one was available for purchase after like f'n two years or something ridiculous like that (I'd completely forgotten I even signed up). I figured why not—I expected I'd just use the chance to check it out and probably ultimately sell it.
Glad I did! I love both sides of it. I'm a big fan of low/medium gain ODs, and the KoT does that really well. Not too compressed, doesn't do the tweed squishy/farty thing as you turn up the gain (good sometimes of course, but I like that this doesn't do it).
