Dwarfcraft and their influence on modern america....

Post by stanimal »

Random IM conversation between two ILF forum members (this thread may contain language that is not suitable for children, children under the age of 17 not permitted):

STEEVDEADMAN:
fuck man.
do you get the Dwarfcraft newsletter?

STANIMAL:
there's a newsletter??
let me check

STEEVDEADMAN:
yea
http://www.dwarfcraft.com/Media/newsletter2-2010.jpg
that's it, just so you don't have to hunt now.

STANIMAL:
absolutely brilliant
Aen is a designing genius

STEEVDEADMAN:
haahaa
Aen got it.
:)

STANIMAL:
his abilities to create mayhem with advertising and personality is criminal
if you notice
the thing about the ILF builders
is that their pedals have a soul
it's like a tv show that has a huge backstory
it's not just 30 minute episodes that never connect with the others

STEEVDEADMAN:
Yes sir...
Aen got it right.

STANIMAL:
their pedals are like The Wire

STEEVDEADMAN:
LOL

STANIMAL:
but Aen is the fucking George Lucas of fucking pedalbuilding

STEEVDEADMAN:
haahahahaa
dude, you should put that in the DC forum

and so i did.....

when you hand make something in the "tundra" and constantly burn fingers, then everything gets a lil "soul"
im speaking more of myself, aen has mastered the art of not burning himself with an iron.

heheheh, sure, PP makes sweet vids so i could understand that.... but Lucas created Star Wars, designed it all, came up with the marketing, and the rest is history.... not to pressure Aen, but the design and marketing is par, and now NEW AND IMPROVED WITH AMPS AND GUITARS (TBD) we're heading into Star Wars territory here....

so in this case, PP cannot possibly be George Lucas.... he's Roger Corman....

I'd rather be more of a bob moog or mike
Matthews, but I bet George Lucas has his own pool.

Would you rather have George Lucas money or Moog or EHX money... I would go with Lucas Money any day :) They all created great things, so it's a win, win, win.
