If you cant do your own guitar setup and cant set your own tone, buy a fucking keyboard. Only bitches get their guitars tuned up at guitar center.

Re: The spite, hate, rage, apathy and mild irritation thread
Nine days later, breakup is still devastating, i still live a few houses over from the boy i love (I seriously just saw him on his back porch from my kitchen window), who still can't give me any more clear reasons for this split than, "I am sad and confused and need space to figure out these emotions," still on that thrilling emotional roller coaster from sad to angry to numb, no clue if i'm fired.
Plus sides of my weekend include deciding to skip town in the near future, and casual gay sex. Oh, and reading 20th Century Boys at the recommendation of a partner. And playing music with said partner and best friend.
And as i write this out, i realize how ridiculous my life is.

Anxiety, depression, too much on my plate. I am whelmed...possibly overwhelmed. Gotta try to sleep.
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.

Emergency vet was saying that bringing her in might not be warranted when we called ahead. Our boy who passed this winter had seizures on the leading edge of everything going south, so nope, we were bringing her in anyway, thanks.
Blood work's okay, and she's on anti-convulsants now. Probability is that it was either a little stroke or it's a brain tumor. We can do an MRI and find out if it's the later and if it's operable. But an MRI itself requires anesthesia, and she had a very rough time out of anesthesia just for a dental cleaning not too many months ago. So we could put her through a mini ordeal to see if we can put her through a greater ordeal, and if she comes out of that greater ordeal without major complications, her recovery could still really suck. There's a twinge of feeling of "are we writing her off?" but we really don't want anything but to maximize her comfort for however much time she has. She would be something like in her 90s in human years, so although she's been mostly healthy for her age, she hasn't been in prime health for a while. I just hope this is a one-off and/or the anti-convulsants manage it so she can just pass sleeping peacefully in a sunny spot in the yard before anything can creep up and make her suffer.
Oh, bonus. After the emergency, I dropped off the mrs. for an overnight trip, so I'm on solo duty to watch that we don't have another seizure. Like happened to the boy when the spiral set in. She seems much better after it than he did, but there's an element of this that is really unnerving.
Oh man, sorry to hear that. I wish all the best for your furry friend.

Thanks. We got through the weekend uneventfully--you wouldn't know that she's been through anything or that anything was different this morning. Here's hoping it was just a one-off.

Every time this guy who sits near me at work stops talking about his kids of his own volition, somebody comes up and asks him about them, so I get to hear their literal entire life story so far about six or seven times a day, every day. I fucking hate your kids.

Sorry about your dog, man!
I think I may have failed my first exam ever (English grammar). I'm usually an A or B student. Oddly enough, I'm not too bummed about it. I've been in way over my head this semester. I even created a grammatical rule that does not exist. The verbal-subject predictative inversion. Go me.

Then you're well on your way to being an expert in English grammar.

My ex is dating a new fellow. I was hoping I could be the mature guy who's just happy for her. I am not that guy. I am not that guy at all.

Feel you, jealousy and bitterness are so ugly, but we all still feel those things, and i'm really sorry to hear about that. Sending love.
