Like the subject says...
If you are coming to our booth at NAMM, what would you like to see and experience in our booth? What did you like about other NAMM booths you've been in that you could see us doing?
Bugaboos - iso booth, huge stages.

I've never been to NAMM, but I've been to several trade shows.
"goodie bags" (usb drive, literature, pens etc) are the first thing to go in the garbage.
Emailing people INSTANTLY from the show is more effective.
For example, guitar retailer walks up and says, "Ryan, I like your shit, can I sell it?"
Response A, "Yeah, bro. Here's a list of our pedz and some stickers and stuff. Call me after the show."
Response B, "Yeah, bro. What's your email? I'll email you our vendor information right now and we'll be in touch. Lead time is X blah blah blah."

Good idea! I had our Mac at the show with us last year and never took it out once. Definitely going to do this!JonnyAngle wrote:I've never been to NAMM, but I've been to several trade shows.

I've also not been to NAMM, but I've been on booth duty at trade shows, and echo everything JohnnyAngle says above.
In my experience, a stunt that gets people to stop and chat beats swag anyday. Since the handpainted look is something that distinguishes you guys, maybe have somebody in the booth painting pedals? That might be totally impractical given the setup...but stopping people with something that makes it not just another booth is key.

I have been gently nudging Shannon to paint at the booth at least 2x over the 4 days. I will def solder at the booth. Shannon was also talking about doing a "paint your own enclosure" workshop too!tabcantab wrote:I've also not been to NAMM, but I've been on booth duty at trade shows, and echo everything JohnnyAngle says above.

THen tell people they're the ones who build all the pedalsFuzzrociouspedals wrote:I have been gently nudging Shannon to paint at the booth at least 2x over the 4 days. I will def solder at the booth. No kids at NAMM. I couldn't even imagine how awful that would be for everyone!
