Out of curiosity, are people able to order more than one pedal? I think I saw a "quantity" option while racing through my order. Just wondering if anyone actually orders more than one unit when you release these limited runs. If they do, it really enables flippers to make a good profit on Reverb/eBay. But then again, crazy flip prices = hype = guaranteed customers on the next batch for normal money. IDK. Just curious. Don't feel inclined to answer that if you don't want to.

When are you planning on shipping out? Very excited to fail miserably at using this thing.

I'm sure it does happen from time to time. I never have order anything of Scott's at the moment of release because of the difficulty of getting it now that he's a super star. I can imagine though, there's people waiting in line to snipe them and flip them. See I would feel bad about doing that with this pedal, but with others I don't. I have weird crap going on in my head. LOL!!

I look forward to demos. I hope you guys that got one do some!! Please! I have no clue if I'll use this and wanted to see what it can do first.

I actually ordered 2, but the second is for my roommate - he got denied when he tried to open a Paypal credit line so I copped it for him. So in theory someone out there could've ordered several (or at least 2) with the intention of just flipping 'em.

Ya i mean this is sort of a rabbit hole of a topic. To directly answer, yes you could buy multiples. There is no indication that anyone is buying all of them at once or anything like that though. Id really rather not dwell on how we sell them, we put them in the store, people can do what they want, the end. While i think systems like cloudscapes used to do for example are clever, my solution is really just to build larger runs of popular items and try to meet the demand.

Scott could easily find out and put a stop to if this was a serious concern for him. He's also notice when he was shipping 10 pedals to the same address.

Let's not tell the explosively successful business that they are doing things wrong. Is it sad not everyone can get the stuff, sure. But that's just the reality of what happens when some people make something that the public wants with limited resources. And it being a low risk purchase because of the solid resale value adds to the rush to get them.

Word. I was just curious. Not bashing the model. CloudScapes has apparently had problems with "bots tuned to perfection", so there's no 'right' way of doing it. I just wasn't sure whether or not you actually could buy more than one. Question answered, so now I will move on to tracking the parcel every hour for the next 10-14 days and expressing my hate for the slowpokes working in the Norwegian customs department for not releasing my pedal.

I honestly don't give a shit about how these are sold, or flipped or whatever. I'm insanely excited that stuff like this is being made, and that there are enough people out there buying this stuff to make Scott and Co want to build more. More cash in Montreal assembly's collective pocket means more rad stuff. I'm going to pick up one of these one day, and if my bank account has a 400 dollar surplus and there aren't any zellersasns to throw it at, there'll be something else rad that I'll hit!

While still super salty I missed out after hitting refresh every three minutes all flippin day yesterday. I feel the same as expressed above. The fact the anyone is making such bat shit passionate boxes that do such cool things is totally rad.
