bumping because I found an r-300 for $99. Says, "Sounds like tubes are blown". Any opinions from the more informed of you on whether it's worth the risk?

do it mate.
About this topic. I've been contemplating selling my commander II top. It is in need of service (one channel doesn't work) but mostly it's bc I want a smaller combo thing. Feels like a mistake in my gut, but I don't know

Always trade something you won't use for something you will
I've never looked back on an Orange R30 stack, a Drip Edge SF Bassman with a 1*15" silver face cab, a Marshall JMP-1, a Fender Champ, an Ampeg stack... I traded those for 15 watts Voxs that turned into a Verellen I can actually use. Never regretted any of those decisions.
I ended up passing on it because I didn't have a cab to really use it with and didn't want to buy one with ILFSS coming up. Also I don't trust the condition from a guy who thinks the tubes are bad in a solid state amp.
