Re: Electrical Guitar Company Guitars
Did you ever sort out that pickup issue?

Re: Electrical Guitar Company Guitars
You talkin to me? ^^^
If so:
Yes, I did.
Kevin made me a buckersized EGC singlecoil. Hella expensive, but sounds awesome.
I did not change the pot, so it's connected to a 500k volumepot, so it is a lot brighter(less bassy/boomy) than the humbucker in the neck. But it sounds good, and a rarely use the neck PU anyway.
Do anyone here know what value pots Kevin uses with the SC guitars?

Re: Electrical Guitar Company Guitars
I think so, they seem pretty compact. Changing the pickup was a hassle though. Had disassemble the whole guitar since the pickups are bolted to the neck and not the pick guard. :-)

Re: Electrical Guitar Company Guitars
So there an EGC Bass that I have my eye on. It seems like every demo of these that I have heard is played with a pick. Does anyone that has one here play with their fingers ? Does the sound still have that bite? I play fairly aggressively.

It'll still have a zing to it, and the sustain will be there.
