Right now I'm working on getting some all-new designs out, but after that, I'll revisit the Polytope and look at ways to add more features to it.

Edit to add: I'm totally interested in doing some special editions that have extra functionality, and I think it's about time for it. There are cool things in the works. :)
Oh man, I'm loving the sound of this post. Can't wait to try it all out! :!!!:

Not annoying at all! I like talking about this stuff and it's always good to see some action on this forum.

I do have some news on this front, but I can't post it just yet. :excellent: There should be an announcement in the next two weeks. There's a mailing list function on the site now for any out-of-stock items, so if you enter your email on this page, you'll get a notification as soon as it's available:

Here it is, out now. The major new additions are the expression pedal input, and that the filter is now switchable between high-pass (as on the original) and low-pass. I've really liked the additional sounds possible with the low-pass mode, so thanks for nudging me to get it completed, Inconuucl!

In addition to the low-noise, low-distortion active circuitry that's been in all the updated IE pedals since last fall, there are some other smaller changes which are mainly aimed at making it quicker to set up subtle, musical sounds. All the insane stuff is still in there, though, don't worry. Ever wanted to have a pitch-shifter pedal that would shift to a different random interval up or down each time you sweep it? You can have it now!

Oh man, That looks amazing! I can't wait to snag one of these myself, once I shovel my way out of debt.

Are you planning a demo anytime soon?

This looks sick! What do you mean by sweep to different random pitches? Like each time you sweep through the expression pedal the toe-down note changes?

To set that up, you'd basically turn off clean, Voices to 1, Detune at maximum, range up, and turn on the LFO at a slow speed. When the expression pedal is set heel down, there is no detuning. When you sweep the expression pedal up, it'll be sweeping to whatever amount of pitch shift the LFO is currently bending it to, somewhere between a few semitones down and a few semitones up, and this amount will be different each time you sweep since the LFO is constantly moving.

It's not truly random, since the LFO just goes up and down cyclically, but if you spend most of the time with the exp pedal heel down and only punctuate certain notes by pressing the exp pedal toe down, you're likely to get a different and unpredictable amount and direction of shift each time.
