Re: The spite, hate, rage, apathy and mild irritation thread
It seems like the girl ive been really into is trying to put some distance between us, since she's basically started leaving me on seen for hours at a time, when we used to just talk throughout the day. It sucks, i thought there might really be something there, but i guess thats just not the case.
Oh well, i guess i'll just write about her a little more and then stop. My greatest muse seems to be my anxiety when i dont know what the fuck is going on, so this works well for my art.
Im probably going to die alone, but i'll die with a lot of love songs under my belt.

Without knowing anything about the situation, I'm inclined to believe she's found someone else who she believes to be an upgrade. You've fulfilled the emotional attention she sought and now that you're the sure thing, she's bored. If you want to rekindle her interest in you, move on. Be cordial and respectful, but unobtainable. Meet someone new to talk to, and let her know about it and how excited you are for the future and what if. Or you can just tell her that you've met someone else and weave a web of lies, at your own risk. Either way, soon as you begin closing the attention spigot she will (likely) thirst for it once again.IEatCats wrote:It seems like the girl ive been really into is trying to put some distance between us, since she's basically started leaving me on seen for hours at a time, when we used to just talk throughout the day. That last sentence of yours is rather telling. Don't fret & dwell on the depressing realization that everyone dies alone, even those who are/were once surrounded by friends & loved ones. Try to enjoy yourself more, even if it's in crafting songs of heartache

It's not like we have phones or anything.
You went so far on the internet that you managed to get directions here, but you didn't bother to consider looking up the website and you didn't wonder why a business would be located in a residential area?

Honestly, the last line is more telling of my love for melodrama than actually feeling that way. Maybe she found someone else, maybe not. Im trying to not worry about it at this point. I just am not-so-often attracted to anyone, so it just felt a lil crushing. Ive got enough stuff going on in my life that i dont really need to dwell on it. Just sucks, i was very into her. So it goes.rustywire wrote:Without knowing anything about the situation, I'm inclined to believe she's found someone else who she believes to be an upgrade. Finally gathered the energy and willpower to do all of my laundry. Brought all my clothes back from the laundromat in my building, started folding them, and realized they all reek intensely of gasoline for reasons I can not even begin to guess at.

Dammit Chank there are better ways to get high.
Any ideas for getting this stink out? It's been burning my nose all day.
I'm thinking about just shelling out for drop off service from now on, every time I go down to that shit hole basement to wash my clothes something awful happens.

I don't know how to get the smell of gas outta clothes. I would assume just washing 'em again might do it.
Good luck.
I'm sure the internet knows though. If you can find a "gas station attendant" forum, they'll probably have lots of tricks for you.
Yeah, if the laundry in your basement isn't cuttin' it, definitely find somewhere else to wash your clothes.

2 cups of vinegar and a cup of baking soda, plus hot water in addition to your regular shit. You might have to do it twice.

Or she is having a rough time with life that has nothing to do with you. There are a million and one reasons that she might not be as responsive that don't involve her not liking you. Or she might not be that into you, but hasn't met someone else.rustywire wrote:Without knowing anything about the situation, I'm inclined to believe she's found someone else who she believes to be an upgrade. No matter the reason, using emotional manipulation/bs is the absolute worst way to try to get a girl interested again. Because if it doesn't work, you are a manipulative dick for doing that instead of communicating honestly. If it does work, you now have a relationship with a girl who requires emotional bs to stay interested. Either way, not good.

Re: The spite, hate, rage, apathy and mild irritation thread
Yeah, that's why I said at your own risk. A relationship built on lies is like building on quicksand. But there's no denying the nature of people who take things for granted and only realize what they had when it's gone. It isn't emotional manipulation/bs to remind someone you have needs any more than being unresponsive and suddenly avoiding someone where there had been a connection and chemistry.
When someone genuinely cares for another person, and are close, I think they're more inclined to be direct about where they stand. "Hey I'm going through some personal things right now and need space, don't want to burden you" etc. The detachment and avoidance usually points to more self-concerned motives, and being strung along is no fun, esp if you're being kept on the back-burner, in the dark. Better to put feet to the fire and get some answers if someone is pussyfooting around what's really going on. FME anyway.
