Amazing! Was expecting the resistor mod, was not expecting the full on MIDI Editor cornucopia of delight.

Glad you like it! :) Needs some more work, I just made this as a test.

It caused some questions; is there a translation of CC values to "real" values like tempo, pitch, filter frequency, and is there a description of the factory presets? There are 16 program slots?

Sounds like Midi really opens this guy up!!

What's that iPad program you're using? Killer!!

I'm trying to decide on a midi controller still.

So I find that messing with the settings creates very cool textures, but it will start out in one sequence then jump to another or start out a sequence, and then not repeat it until like a minute or more later. I think it has to do with all the knob turning. LOL!!

Do you have any just general step sequence settings? Like an arpeggiator setting? Maybe something rythmic that follows in a faster sequence.

Do I need to be more specific or is that ok??
Similar advice.
If you are having trouble getting a handle on the sequencer, turn all the top knobs to max (so they aren't affecting the sound). Then turn Stutter off (knob at min). Turn "Sequencer Mult" to 1x, this means you will change steps on quarter notes (one step per blink). And turn "Stutter" to max for infinity, this means the sequencer will ignore your pick attack and just keep repeating over and over again at the tap tempo rate. Now while holding "Alt", set steps 3,4,5, and 6 to min, which means the sequencer will only go between step 1 and step 2. With a 2 step sequencer you can get a good handle on things and then add more steps as you feel comfortable.

As I mentioned before, maybe try connecting a looper pedal to the input, and have it do a simple loop. This will leave you both hands free to explore different settings.
Thank you for this! Going to give it a whirl!

I'm regretting getting rid of my Dream Sequence now. LOL! These two are so vastly different and I didn't realize that. Oh well! I'll buy another one. haha

I'll report back after messing with it like suggested!

I have a oto bisquit and I'm in love with the Ottobit jr. It shows it's made for guitar (in a good way) , especially on the bits side and the filter.
It's such a great pedal and I find it pretty easy to use in every aspect.
The stutter is the only part I'm still trying to master.

Playing with the top row of knobs you can get so many sounds.
I can give my shitty postrock arpeggios and notes such a moody attitude. ^_^

Loving the sequencer, the default sequence at a fast speed is geeky videogame territory!

Jwar, actually I think you were almost right thinking it could replace the dreamsequence, but only on very simple patterns (given the fact you only have 6 steps on the ottobit).
the 6 steps don't make it possible unfortunately to replace it for more complicated patterns.

This pedal is so much fun and very well designed.
Being a oto bisquit user, I would love to have third layer of controls maybe on the other small button on the right for MIX (to add dry to ultra destroyed sounds)and VOLUME (to compensate for the volume bump in some bit\filter settings).
Now that I think about it, If it were possible to have a third layer I would sacrifice mix and volume (using a line mixer pedal) and take an additional 6 steps. :omg:
The bit reducer is so much simpler on the meris and more guitar friendly. The filter is very very good.
I feel the sample rate sounds a little different from the one on the bisquit, but I'm not sure yet.

Congrats meris. This is a great start and it makes me wonder for what's next. Definitely getting a m7 asap.

The app is Midi Designer - you create your own pages with controls.

Nice textures!

You need a little horsehair bow to saw on those ScrapYard wobble string-sprigs.

Haha, yeah, that would be fun! I've considered modding it some more. Maybe add some actual strings to pluck and otherwise manipulate. :p

Might also be cool to experiment with textured rubbing on string-sprongs (ahem! TWSS).

Like... use a Dremel hand drill with a felted or textured bit to gently brush the side of
the strings to create zings of different pitch by varying the speed of the Dremel.

Destructive rubbing by using a sandpaper attachment would also be possible.

Texture creates texture.
