Knocking both the Red Sox and the Yankees out of the playoffs definitely moves the Astros from my :idk: list to my :thumb: list.

Here is one of my favorite statistics: the Yankees had the second highest opening-day payroll in MLB this year, and the Red Sox had the third highest. The Astros had the 18th highest.

The Dodgers had the highest, but they also had the most winning regular season record in the Majors. We will see how all that that plays out in the World Series. It should be a good one.

Dodgers in 6 (maybe 5)

Annhilated the Cubs...and didn't even have Seager lol.

They're too deep and their bullpen is so sick...

Yeah, I like the Dodgers too. :idk: Hopefully it'll be an interesting series though. Still it'd be nice for the Astros to come out on top. :snax:

Most said the same thing about the Yankees but the Astros' bats were too hot. Plus after Harvey the Astros are playing with a purpose, so with full bias I'm saying Astros in 6.

So glad the Astros took down the Yanks. It's nice to have a World Series where you don't mind who wins. I just hope they go 7 games.

Honestly...I don't even think the Yankees are that good...they played above their pay grade for a bit, but, meh.

Kershaw was at 80 ish pitches last night and easily could've gone 8...but no need...look at that bullpen. Lights out.

Houston will likely crush Hill tonight so if the Dodgers can't solve Verlander series should be tied. I look forward to the Dodgers lineup facing what Houston has for Games 3 and 4 though haha.

Pretty sure the Dodgers are going to take it all; they're stacked and have home field advantage. Houston should be able to take some games though.
