Havin' some issues with Magneto. No clue what's going on. Luckily the Strymon people reached out on muffwiggler to try and solve the problem. Unfortunately it's looking like I need to send it back and get a new one. A+ customer service though.

Ruiner, do you still use that Frap tools case? How do/did you like it? I love the UNO design but I'm a little hesitant because of the power solution (never used a floating one before).

Yeah I have the Frap case and the DNGR TECH case. Love the Frap. No issues with the floating power strip. Can get bunched up a bit if you have a ton of small modules back to back like a bunch of 2 HP modules or something budifferent otherwise it’s fine

Awesome. How does it work with the one power module though? I don't get how the power reaches the top and bottom rack. Is there some internal power port on those racks?

everything Frapp makes is SO DELICIOUS.

i love the DNGR case. has a few wigglets though. 2hp modules fit in like 1 or 2 places in the bottom case. almost skiff levels of depth carefulness.

but. you know. was a third or fourth the price of Frapps, half the price of MDLR cases. which. i do like the look of.

edit - huh. MDLRs are about the same price. HURM.

WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE MORE THAN 4 SQUARE FEET OF ROOM.

How often do you use the pedal row/how sturdy is that shelf? I like that but feel like it'd be too out of the way for me to remember to use it, and I'd be too afraid I'd accidentally snap the shelf off clicking it down.

Strangey Tail Yarea - lol. yeah. i mean. IDEALLY i'd love to have enough room to have more table space and put a bunch of pedals there with a patch bay and more rooooom.

but, for right now, this works. the shelves are pretty sturdy. i think rated at 30 kg each? i've had the top with about 20-30 kg of. storage forever, never warped or bent. when i click on a pedal the shelf doesna seem to flex at all.

the shelves are flat, i have those cheapie Ikea tablet stands velcro'd down for the anglings.

Who Got Them Hips GHOSTIE GOT THEM HIPS - thanks! yeah. it's a little frustrating having to be so careful, but it's slowly got into a workable in a small yarea setup.

Looking good Behndy!

Here's a new track I did really showcasing the Strymon Magneto. I have the Magneto on two of the four voices used and also it's the only effect on guitar (the echoes, the reverb, the pitch shifting, the CT5 like looping, and the tape-like speed changes). Also running one of the voices through Rings into Clouds and another through Three Sisters. There's also some Folktek Resonant Garden at the very beginning and during the second half. Using the Vidiot for the visuals.

That’s a beautiful little music area Behndy. Whatever is going on outside your window looks magical too in this photo.

I’ve been having some issues with my modular that date back to before my live gig. There has been a chain reaction of mistakes and bad luck, including me reverse wiring power on a module, which apparently survived but caused a different module to fail. I’m being patient and trying to resolve issues with this one module before I even go through the rest of my system and make sure everything else is ok (I don’t even know for sure yet!) I’ve been feeling a bit apathetic about the universe while I try to get things sorted.

Oversharing: To matters worse I’ve been on a medical staycation (vasectomy boys!) and I had been planning to spend much of the extra free time with my synth.

NEVER BE SORRY. EMPTYING OUT THE CHILDREN CANOE IS THE BEST DECISION EVER.

so. much. better. sexy times.

the other thing sucks though. i have only reversed the power on one module, but my PitsMod case just flashed all the modules on and off and i realized what i had done right away. got lucky?

EVERY MODULE SHOULD HAVE KEYED POWER SPOTS. JUST SAYIN'.

lol. oh jia. and what's going on outside the window is like 2 decades of half dead half alive ALL ZOMBIE Blackberry Sticker Bush Getting All Evil Dead On A Cherry Tree MADNESS.

Just bought a Varigate 8+, Rossum Morpheus (this thing flew WAY under my radar), and Noise Engineering's LIP. Methinks I'm going to sell some more stuff this week, but I'm planning on getting a Cloud Terrarium and Manis Iteritas to replace some of what's going out once they are re-stocked (and/or just order the E352 direct). I'm not 100% sold on the Varigate 8+ (I have the 4 and I definitely need more gates) but I haven't found a drum programmer that I love yet. Varigate 8+ at least gets the closest to what I imagine.

There's a new polysynth in my future, too...
