Side note, I've never even heard a Skreddy pedals demo but their name has always rubbed me the wrong way. Not sure if they meant to take the name from Lynda Barry's comics or not, but I remember one day doing an image search for Skreddy and was confronted with a bunch of damn pedlols.

That's what some ads in mainstream guitar media have looked like for a long time. Definitely not an excuse, but not surprising. What is surprising is that companies are still running ads like that in this day and age.

Old dudes thinking sex still sells. Some blooz dads may look at that ad and say "boy I'd like a pair of those har har I'll buy my tubes there!" where the rest of us, and the women, and the younger generations are like

What is surprising is that companies are still running ads like that in this day and age.

It's cause musical instrument companies think women are only like 12% of the market, but as fender found out when they actually did real market research we're actually 50% shock of shocks.
