Picked up a used Omnimod and Storage Strip. Not seeing any talk about these, maybe bc unobtainium and a host of p.o.'d pre-orderers, but I have to say, I'm pretty psyched. Not as modular-pure as a Maths or Rampage, but complex waveforms

what pedals out there have CV control? i know the Koma, not super excited about setting up a discrete 1/4 to 1/8 adapter solution, but that's doable. the short delay and step filter INTRIGUE me. i never loved any of the Moogerfoogers i had, don't even remember if they have CV. who else does?
like. i MISS my Endangered Audio AD4096 (numbers are HARD), is there either a module or pedal that sounds as good? preferably with CV control? nah just grab another AD?
how is the Chase Bliss delay? it's analog no?
Chase Bliss all do, Tonal Recall is analog and great & you can map CV to whatever.
Dwarfcraft Happiness/Twin Stags have both in and out, The Curse will send and receive as well when that comes out
Adventure Audio Outer Rings takes CV, they've got some kind of guitar/modular synth mashup device coming soon too from what I've heard.
Fairfield Meet Maude takes CV and Randy's Revenge definitely sends it, I'm not sure about receiving
Count to 5 and Your & You're both accept
Red Panda I'm almost certain
All of what Worra said too, I think that's a pretty accurate list from companies I'm familiar with. Maybe Alexander on their Neo series? I'd be pretty surprised if they don't given the attention to detail on those things.
Also going on tour next month doing modular stuff, if you live in the southeastern US there's a good chance I'm coming to your state
With the CBA stuff, you need to make sure your 1/4" plug is TRS with a floating ring. Joel sells those cables, so pretty easy to get. Also, you need to make sure that the cable you're using to get into your modular is properly grounded. The Modular Addict stackables have caused me issues in the past. The only downside to the CBA stuff is that none of the CV can be audiorate. The micro controllers aren't programmed in such a way that it's possible.
Anyways, TR and Spectre are fantastic sound FX for Modular!

Austin, I hope?
yep yep, looking like Beerland on May 7th Will definitely ping you when we get the last details sorted out.
I'm really antsy for my Marbles to arrive, looks like Control's shipment arrived yesterday so hopefully Detroit Modular's isn't too far behind. I finally dropped the Voltage Block, and I've honestly been loving my setup even with the 20hp gap. Coolest thing is I recently broke my modules into two "complete" instruments rather than one control skiff + one everything else case, and the only really important thing missing on the smaller skiff was a clock/trigger generator. Marbles contains that *as well* as a quantized sequencer, so it's like it was built for my Mannequins+Rings case.
I'm thinking about the SSF GND CTRL for permanent rack to pedal CV duties. Maybe a bit luxury/overkill, but so what, it's nice. Until then a passive attenuator is fine.
Eventide pedals can take CV from a mono tip, if you just want to go straight from an attenuator or voltage conversion module into pedals' expression inputs. I don't know of many, but my trusty Digitech RP360 is another one that can take expression from TS or TRS, and it also has the assignable internal LFO. It's like a new & improved Magicstomp. Best multi-FX for modular IMO, because of the monotip CV action.
yeah. i mean. the reason i haven't had my pedals setup lately (except SPACE ISSUES), is that i'm spoilt for choice with modular. it feels.... useless. to have ONE parameter on a pedal one can modulate.
..... annnnnnd have a Koma BD 101 coming in. had one back in the day, dug it, but didn't have a setup to utilize the patching options. i am EXCITE.

with your...momentary fuck switch and all..
The RP360 lets you LFO one param and EXP control another. The RP360XP does both of those plus has a built in expression pedal, so you can actually modulate 3 params at once on that. Eventides let you modulate multiple params differently over midi, but only have the one exp input. The Boss multi FX are very flexible that way now too, but not sure if they're monotip friendly or not. I'd love to try a DD500 too.
Protostar is about as modular-friendly as it gets. Just look at that hungry patchbay...
Case: got hype because Control emailed me that the Stealth case was back in stock but sent a follow-up that it was a false alarm (BUT they are expected later this month so woo). I'm a little worried that 2x 104hp 7U is going to be too big (also a question of stability) but I'm at least getting 1.
I have all my modular ish disassembled rn and don't really feel like re-assembling everything, but I'm very anxious to try Marbles. I'm looking for something to WOW me and take over sequencing duties. I've enjoyed my short return to Metropolis but it's such a HP hog.
I stripped a bunch of shit from my case in anticipation of TSNM, uBurst, Pluck, Wow & Flutter which we’re all supposed to arrive yesterday. No dice, have to wait until Friday which means no fun until Monday.
Oh well, I made this with the B&G, dfam, and Drumfuck. Basic patch, but I’ve been messing with it and getting some good shit.
