Oof that Nebulae is a pretty module.

Want to see some demos to get a better idea about how different it is than version 1 but Bendz I know you've been looking forward to this for a while.

It looks incredibly different/advanced/evolved from v1. The main differences that I can see: v1 couldn't live record, didn't have a separate speed and pitch control, had a terrible layout, and wasn't stereo. But still it was a pretty awesome module. The only reason I didn't keep mine, is that I got a Radio Music, which did almost everything that the first did (minus the granular stuff).

I might get one of these or a Morphagene, but I want to wait to see what Mutable's Clouds 2 will look like first

Yeah I'm all set on samplers/loopers with W/ and Morphagene (plus OG Clouds) but I'm guaranteed to get whatever Clouds 2 is because I am weak. :picard:

Dual Belgrad with DPO style FM. At least that's what that panel looks like to me

I've been exploring the DLD's windowing feature lately, it's probably one of my favorite features I never really expected to use that often. Sending a sequence into a channel, freezing the buffer, then looping window play with an El Cap

Hey, I was including myself in that comment... :)

Also, for those of you with a Mikrophonie/Ears : duplicate the main output and attenuate it at different levels to trigger several modules. For example now I have it set up to trigger my BIA and also as the input of Rings. By attenuating what goes to the BIA's trigger and hitting my case with different body parts/objects I can either play Rings (more or less soft) or have a stronger Rings sound and trigger BIA at the same time.

You can apply that to anything that requires gates, and this gives you some nice instrument haptic feedback for cheap :).
You can probably add some gates logic to that to make it more interesting.

I'm absolutely getting it if it's an improvement on Clouds in the reverb dept. I like my uClouds very much.

lol. i said i PROBABLY don't want it?

regardibg u/nano versions of Mutables - it feels like these three 2nd Gen modules (well, i've only touched two so far PLEASE SHIP THE STAGES OKAY) are very..... hp respective? they seem the perfect size for their layouts. a lot of the 1st Gen Mutables i feel they would have been fine even 4 or 6 hp smaller.

also, woot! after tearing my music section of the spare room down and getting it setup for the Mawmz In Lawz visit (she's the nicest of humans), there's a little space in our bedroom where i can setup main rack and mixer. have to use headphones, but can still Micro Noise. HAPPY BUTTS.

From what I've read, Clouds 2 is a different beast and Olivier was even trying to avoid calling it Clouds 2. It sounds like it covers some of the same territory, but it has more focus on the granular side of things. So I kind of think the reverb side of things will be different or missing all together.
