My AD4096 mk ii is scheduled to be here tomorrow. Can't wait to hear this clusterfuck of a project in action.

Bumping because I think this post might have gotten lost at the bottom of the last page. Genuinely curious if anyone has further info on them. It's been bumming me out because the Twosome is one of my favorite pedals. I had bought and flipped used ones a couple times before finally springing for a new one last January. I bet the flipping market doesn't help small pedal builders very much, although it has to be factored in as part of the game.lost in music wrote:Blackout Effectors hasn't posted any pedal-relevant social media since last Oct. Their twitter account actually has several "I just entered to win this firearm" updates from last month. Instagram shows that he's at least been going to the gym.
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

Yeah it's a decent pedal, but not worth that much. The construction feels a bit cheap too. It feels lighter than the original despite being bigger. Thinner enclosure...

I would think that enclosure would be steel and way heavier. Is it sheet aluminum?

A magnet will grab steel and ignore aluminium.Ugly Nora wrote:Regrettably, I wouldn't know how to tell the difference. Sorry.

Yup, a magnet. If it sticks it's a ferrous material.Ugly Nora wrote:A magnet?

I made him a logo right before he dropped off the face of the earth. He was going to send me a pedal for it but never did. That was probably almost 8 years ago now at leastcrochambeau wrote:I'd be curious to see how correlation between the condition of internals relates to longevity. Returning to the actual thread topic: Sirkut seems to have dropped off the map, though I have no idea if Sirkut made much of a splash here, or if that was deeper into the old noise caves (most of which have long since collapsed).
