HA! Sort of. An old Norwegian saying (or maybe just in the South among us hillbillies <g>): It's not yet a sausage even at the slaughterhouse.BetterOffShred wrote:Something about a hotdog at a slaughterhouse?

Re: Reverse Octave Up (aka The Legend Of BAKVENDT)
About eleven years ago I had a conversation with a friend. They started speaking in such a way that I was shocked and disheartened
to such a degree that I felt like I didn't know them at all. So I just smiled blandly and finished my beer. When I got home I wrote a song.
I recently unearthed a rough recording of the resulting song and I added two electric guitar tracks on which I used the Pest Tattern
and the Pladask Bakvendt. For one pass I used the octave up setting on the Bakvendt. On the other pass no octave.
The Bakvendt captures an unstable uncertainty that I think works in this case. But the octave-up guitar track also has a ton of reverb,
which maybe smooths that instability out a bit?
Best when viewed in HD.
