i gots the Snare, Hats and another Mix from 2hp headed this way, and just placed an order for a uo_C. because DAMN Hemispheres.

it has an app that does Branches too! i LOVE that for occasionally inserting an open hi hate in a closed hi hat pattern, but don't use it all the time. will be neat to have a once in a while option version.

I still haven't looked too deep into Hemispheres. Is it a completely new firmware? Like does it replace the standard firmware?

sort of? it takes out Meta_Q, leaves the rest. but. adds like 12 new applets?

annnnnnnnnnnd the best part is that it lets you run two apps SIDE BY SIDE AT THE SAME TIME.

so T1/2, C1/2 and A/B outs are App 01, T3/4, C3/4 and C/D outs are App 02.

Well now that is way more interesting to me. I don't think I've ever used Meta_Q. I always use Quartermain for quantizing.

i love the Sonic Potions as a quick and interactive quantizer. Quartermain is dooooope for more I Sorta Know Scales But Let's Let YOU Do The Heavy Lifting.

but i would never need more than 1 or 2 at a time.

i'm suuuuuper excited at doing quantizing but having 2 more outs open for something else, or setting up patterns and triggering it's own envelopes or..... shit. so MUCH.

Usually when I use Quartermain, I only use one or two of the quantizers and the other channels I use as Turing Machines. I love that it has the ability to be 4 Turing Machines
