i've actually kept enough pieces stable to get a song or two done. been keeping the same bits patched up on my rack because i'm doing that Oakland Once A Month Thing again next next Sunday, trying to have a full thing laid out. thinnnnnnk i want to look at playing another time or two a month?

I sold a lot of stuff recently. Picked up an E352. I had some Noise Engineering stuff for a bit last year. I'm pretty excited to play with this thing. Thick morphing wavetables with the other chaotic harsh noisey vcos should be a good time. I might even finally look at getting some fx in my rack.

So I should be getting my second Moog case and 2-tier rack tomorrow. Nebulae is hopefully coming in next week (depending on customs). After that, I'm actually done acquiring modular stuff for the foreseeable future, which is super exciting!

I'm incredibly excited to mess with the new Nebulae. The original Nebulae was one of the first modules I ended up buying and I absolutely loved it, but I ended up flipping it for the original Clouds and a Radio Music...huh, odd, that might actually end up happening again since the only thing that may change my current rack is the next iteration of the Clouds...weird

Yeah....I finally got my case reorganized for it and powered it up to test it....and ALL the gain pots are scratchy as all get out. I emailed WMD and they were amazing and fast about getting back to me. It's a free repair but obviously I'm miffed at the dude on MW that sold it to me without mentioning this. Luckily I'm out of town for work all next week so I won't miss it while it's gone too much.

WMD mixer and the Pragas have always super intrigued me. but i don't do a lot of spacial mixing so an out-rack mixer makes more sense for me, hp saving and price wise.

Yeah, WMD from what I've seen have just been amazing, customer-service-wise. I'm happy with them, less happy with homie on Muffs. WMD said it was a known flaw too so it's not lithe this dude couldn't have known. Sigh. I got a great deal on it, maybe this was why.

on the other hand, maybe you got a helluva deal and it's going to work out totes in your favor after WMD being the good people they are?

lol. no homie. i TOTALLY get why it would be delicious to have a mixer under modular control. i sort of have that with the Plancks?

it's just the way i do with musics, it would be a waste. so a $250 mixer with hellza inputs next to a rack makes more sense.
