Out: Rubberneck. Just got it, it was dead on arrival, hoping to get it replaced/fixed soon.
Incoming: Digitech Nautila. Figured it could be the right aswer for my "I'm desperate for a chorus and a flanger but don't have space nor monies for both" dilemma.

Because I sold it a few years ago when I started Eurorack and I miss it! Now that I've adjusted and settled down on modular I'm thinking more about good complimentary stuff like the GT-001 again. The footswitch and expression pedal really add a lot, and there is a nice range of pitch and delay algorithms. It's really quite a little powerhouse.

I've always liked the cb mic style for performance. I have a horrible old 1/4" hackjob with awful hum that I can now throw away. Hopefully a nice new mic and module will inspire a little more use, but even if it's just once in a while, it will still be nice to have something a little more permanent around. The idea of a mic basically hardwired to the rack is definitely giving me anticipatory gas.

Got a sorta new guitar incoming via my bassist. He has an old Gibson Les Paul Studio M-III with a busted headstock that hes giving to me. Said its been broken and repaired in the same spot before due to carelessness. Break is pretty typical looking. Im confident that its fixable. If not, theres some pickups that were swapped into it that would be worth salvaging. Should be interesting.

Guitar looks like this for reference. Same color too.

GC cancelled my order of the GT-001, which pissed me off ('inventory error"). Bought another one today for not much more. Crossing my fingers this makes its way here by Friday.

Spent yesterday shopping CB microphones on ebay. Saw a lovely range of aesthetics; vintage teardrops and tabletoppers, trucker styles, cop styles, woodgrain enclosures, camo, chrome, colored, plastic toy looking to heavy duty, just all kinds, it was a nice little tour of a previously unexplored corridor of gear world. Settled on two:

This one for the classic style, and I like the metal cord. $31 NIB

This one for the thumb action and just overall total style difference. $13 from China

Haha, no, these are Eurorack accessories, to be used with loads of fx. I think they're both pretty synthy looking in their own way actually...

Rad, I've been eyeing that pedal for a few weeks (but pledging for ILFSS). Let us know how you like it (and try it on bass if you can!).
