So we’re decided: we’re doing a homo-erotic Jonestown. Everyone grab some Kool Aid and start beating.

I like having ended up here and it would be a real shame if it died even if i havent used the site that much. i used facebook before for gear stuff and here is so much better since you dont get yelled at for using a fuzz face wrong or some shit. i like this community even though i havent got any real connection to it. i do remember when the forum was annouced but i was like 13 back then lol

Long time listener, first time (or at least infrequent) caller here.

I really like this forum and check it probably every day now. There is a wealth of gear related knowledge on tap but I find myself spending more time in general discussion as the population seems to be made up of majority cool folks.

Forums have been old hat for about a decade and part of ILF's charm is that it has gleefully bucked this trend the whole time, I hope it continues long into the future as the quality and depth of discussion this format affords is invaluable. And if TB and TGP can survive, why can't ILF?

I feel like we have to have this sort of "forum mortality" discussion every so often just to remind ourselves that we love this place and don't wanna let it go.

LONG LIVE THE NEW FLESH.

Now let's make some weird t-shirts that nobody else understands and act antisocial while talking about gear.

If ILF dies the only forums left are ones where relocating the volume control on a superstrat is considered an awesome feat of gear engineering.

My favorite line from Bojack Horseman popped into my mind, not quite the feel of the moment but somehow rhyming:
“You're the biggest asshole I know and you're the only thing that makes sense to me.”
