I think that's pretty rad Curtis. It's obvious your builds aren't trivial, and I certainly have a ton of admiration for them. I'll take one of each

I'd love to see PCBs and/or kits of any of your designs.crochambeau wrote: I intend to offer up PCBs and/or kits for many of my designs. While I doubt they'll be the best bet for a novice, I will endeavor to keep them as user friendly as possible. Sometimes it's not possible..

I am a total newbie so I won't be able to deal with your circuits for a while, but if I get to the point of feeling confident with my electronic abilities I would be more than happy to grab a couple of PCBs of yourscrochambeau wrote: I intend to offer up PCBs and/or kits for many of my designs. Re: The RMA drawing board/etc.
I'm cautiously optimistic that I may have resolved the power supply needs for the RMA Powerplant preamplifier (and other stuff that will benefit from bipolar power rails). I designed around +/- 24 volts at 100ma as the target for the discrete operational amplifier, but voltages will be downward adjustable for monolithics.

Seen depicted are some component footprints that I will integrate into the board level offerings (diode and non-polarized caps specifically), ultimately I'd love it if the pads reflect schematic thinking.
Now I just need to finish some builds so I can buy more boards, hahaha.

Time will tell on the voltage converter (boards finally got ordered on Monday of this week, so hopefully I'll be able to work with them and confirm operation in 2-3 weeks). I'm optimistic they will pave way for numerous other things.
Sigh, I realize I'm opening a huge can of worms here, but, external pressures from several directions are guiding my hand somewhat... I'm building out the last PCB of the early version of Dirty Doper at present so I can have a benchmark unit on hand to weigh the new design against. Development is proceeding at long last on this curmudgeonly artifact.

Also in the voltage module order are at long last Tetanus Booster (DIY accessible) and Stone Splitter (not DIY accessible at this point in time) PCBs.

Can't wait to see where Stone Splitter goes....

Guys my custom Monobius is a forever ped. Any time I catch myself looking at Trogotronic or Metasonix I go, "Oh right... Curtis built me that monster."

Re: The RMA drawing board/etc.
I'm in no rush but Stone Splitter is the one for me, if there's an opportunity to buy a fully built unit at some point, I'm ready.
And of course, any kit type offering too. Those PCBs look sick.

Re: The RMA drawing board/etc.
I'm not going to release anything for DIY consumption that has not yet had several rounds of debugging or has not yet proved long term reliability out in the field. Plus the Stone Splitter is a more involved project than I want to long distance troubleshoot at the moment. Something that involved might evolve into a partial IC circuit, with discrete transistors only where the nonlinearities work best. I do plan on digging into one as soon as I am able.
I did receive notification less than an hour ago that the PCBs have been sent to fab, which typically means I'll see them in about two weeks.
