Yeah, bring it back to the US. Cool to hate your own country, I get it.

Are you saying the US funded ISIS? There is a false claim that he CIA trained them - under Obama. Arms meant for a program to help train Syrian rebels to fight ISIS did get into the latter's hands.

"Warmongers in the government and military" is a nice platitude.

Doubling down on promising to commit war crimes is definitely on-brand for Shitshow.

I already want him deported to the ICC for crimes against humanity against immigrants. Don’t need to add another charge, so just say “no,” Pentagon.

it's not my country; it's a country which i had the accident of being born into. the US government has never represented me or advocated my interests in the 63 years i've lived. electoral politics will not solve the problem because it has created the problem. America deserves a 9/11 every. fucking. day., as well as a vastly expanded edition of the armed resistance of the Weather Underground/Red Army Faction/Brigade Rosse. it just might get the oligarchs' attention if Zuckerberg, Bezos, Musk et al. start showing up dead in the trunks of abandoned cars.

You don't know what platitude means.
You hear the warmongers stuff used at protests all the times. Its a cover for a lack of any argument.

Yes, Iraq. Yes, should we have been there is a valid question but US presence there doesn't justify US service member's deaths. Can't say I know that is what you were inferring.

Faldoe - we might not see eye to eye on politics, but I appreciate the fact that you always argue intelligently. Some people get very emotional over politics, but you always manage to keep a level head. You're good people. :thumb:

Even if you are misguided. :p

I'm 'inferring' nothing - these people died in an active warzone that was only a warzone because we committed a war crime. Soleimani didn't attack the US, didn't attack the US embassy in Timbuktu.
On this score he's no different than dozens of US generals with much higher body counts in the region.

Petraeus and Soleimani are, morally, equals - arguably, Soleimani bearing responsibility for fewer deaths, is less deserving of getting blown up while on a diplomatic mission.
I asked you a question regarding whether you are saying US funded ISIS.
I've said nothing of the sort. It's not up to me to clear up your inability to read.

They died with the help of Soleimani's help and training.

Soleimani's efforts to kill Isis were on he grounds he was aligned with Assad. Not sure of comparing Soleimani is a charitable and fair comparison.

This is what you said:
jirodreamsofdank wrote:But seriously, that's irrelevant to the statement that he was a leading force in fighting back against ISIL.

Of course, most of the warmongers in government and the military were open to the idea of funding ISIS because they were a counterbalance to Iran...

And I asked if you were suggesting if the US funded ISIS as you said "most of the warmongers in government and military" - were you referring to the US? It is unclear to me if that is what you meant. I think it is reasonable to ask as you didn't state it explicitly. But you want to respond in a way that isn't conducive to discussion.

I read what you said but I'm not clear as to what you meant which is why I asked for clarification. Is that a bad thing?

Yes, in a war zone. That's what happens in war zones. That's why we shouldn't commit criminal acts like creating new war zones.

You don't get to play the HE KILLED 'MURRICANS card when you're talking about members of an occupying force in the midst of a conflict.
Soleimani's efforts to kill Isis were on he grounds he was aligned with Assad. Not sure of comparing Soleimani is a charitable and fair comparison.
Why? Because Petraeus (or insert any other American leader) had pure and unsullied motives? We're aligned to far worse regimes in the region than Iran - regimes that were (or are) nice and tight with the Taliban, Al-Qaeda and ISIL/S.

(I mean, by funding the muhajideen to start with the CIA/US government more broadly are responsible for more American civilian deaths than Soleimani by an infinite amount.)
And I asked if you were suggesting if the US funded ISIS as you said "most of the warmongers in government and military" - were you referring to the US?
I'm "open to" receiving a blowjob from Heidi Klum. Does this mean I've received a blowjob from Heidi Klum?

I already did.

Whoa there, let's not get too carried away. IMO Musk is exactly the kind of high-profile futurist humanity needs if we are to continue progressing technologically. He is very outspoken on climate change, and actually puts his money where his mouth is by investing in developing renewables technology. We need more like him to be honest.

Here in South Australia we have one of the Tesla batteries: http://theconversation.com/yes-sas-batt ... ides-88480
I think its pretty cool, and it is a bold thing to try, even if this is baby step in the grander scheme of things, its still a step in the right direction.

Didn't you hear? It's a new rule that in order to be a billionaire, you must also be a saint. A saint that doesn't believe in religion or capitalism or any government that isn't pure, utopic socialism.

Musk is the best grifter of my lifetime - a dipshit rich kid who tripped over his dick into dotcom 1.0 money and takes credit for other peoples' work.

He's Mark Cuban with an art-school girlfriend and no NBA ring.

These are the rocks bouncing around in Musk's head, if it wasn't 2020 you'd have a serious question about whether or not he had syphilis eating into his brain.
