I realized I can fit everything I want/need in an 84hp Intellijel 7U instead of a combo of a Palette and my 104hp 4U:

So I'm going to try and trade my 104hp Intellijel 4U for an 84hp 7U, if anyone is interested

That Quadrax looks mighty tasty.

I'm really impressed with Intellijel's new stuff. Their old stuff is great, too, but the new stuff is really impressive. The Tete walkthrough blew my mind a bit.

if they would. you know. OFFER BLACK PANELS. then i would like them a looooot more.

because. you know. REASONS.

i want to love the Tetrapad, but i'm digging using the Volteras as live knobby wiggles that then record. like so -

pffffft. poke fun? that's a COMPLIMENT. make EVERYTHING sound like Rings! WOOOOOO!!
The moment I start thinking "hrmmmmm Rings isn't doing much for me lately" I'll patch it and then realize RINGS IS GOD

So I've been watching Twin Peaks for the first time with my partner (who has seen it once through already) and made it to the infamous Part 8 of the Return. I wrote about it in the video description (no spoilers I promise!) but in summation, much inspiration was boiling inside of me. Next night I put this patch together, I hope you guys dig it, I am really happy with this one. :)*

also, had lent the FLXS to a friend. still annoyed home boy abandoned the project, but it is my favorite melodic euro sequencer. she's on her way back.

the Nerdz is GOOD, but a bit more methodical than i enjoy right now. not going to ditch it, waiting until scales are implemented then diving in again. maybe if i wasn't using Metron for gates Nerdz wouldn't feel so pre planny slow times? the Metron is QUICK.

annnnnd the SSP looks so GOOD. but. way too much hp. was butts excited about the MSSP, was about to order before i realized it's planned, but first attempt to fund it didna take off. durn it.

I don’t think anything will ever top the ER-101/102 for me in terms of melodic sequencing. It can be really deep or very quick and fast.

yeahhhhh. i keep fighting it, and i'll probably try other interesting looking sequencers, but the FLXS has been the comfiest fit for me so far.

Well I sold my 4U Intellijel case; going to try to wait until after the holidays before I order the 84hp 7U. Until then I've put together a mini rack in my HEK:

Bloom and Marbles don't feel redundant to you in such a small setup? Genuinely curious.

I will have to wait until I actually own a Bloom to properly answer, but my though is that Marbles is a lot more random in nature (you can't actually program in any specific values that I know of), whereas Bloom you can actually program in a sequence. I also like using Marbles for random CV and triggers, so having Bloom will allow me to do that a little more exclusively.

get a Cara! same Marbles Goodness in 10 hp!

i got burnt on Marbles. it's good, but the gate stuttering is the thing i liked the most, seemed too much room for just that.

woooooo got that 100 Grit and WMD Spectrum in.

Got WMD's Crater today and so far it's as advertised! The awesome parts are all the control there is over the attack/click with three different knobs. My main comparison here is BIA where you just kind of get what they throw at you on the attack knob. Crater won't really do the thing where you can pull a snare out of it with some CV like the BIA, though, since there's no CV of the click decay. The other special thing is the sustain level when you throw a gate at the input. you can go from bass drum to bass line machine so quickly and even in the same line. The accent is a really nice touch, too.
