Fuck all these limited edition grandma's Franklin Mint spoon collection pedals and the companies that take part.

The only one I haven't had is the OG.Gone Fission wrote:Am I the only one looking at all the Gen Loss-based products and trying to sort between them? OG CooperFx, the Cooper side of the Dark World, CB Gen Loss, and now the Arcades cartridge.
(I definitely still need to binge the Arcades vids for the best idea of how they compare.)
1) Dark World - IMHO, least impressive of the three. My memory of it is there was a volume drop and it was hard to distinguish in a mix.
2) CB GL - I'm using this as frontend pedal to get some wobblyness but . . .
3) Arcades - played with this first time yesterday and my initial impression is there is a lot of variety in the GL card and I am thinking about replacing the CB GL with it. For my purposes, I only get one sound from the CB GL that I like but yesterday, I was getting all sorts of really great sounds from Arcades,
Tom was very kind to send a couple extra cards so I played Synth, Grains, Lofi, Reverse, Delay and GL cards yesterday. Initial impression was I really liked Grains (was surprised actually) and GL, just about all 8 alogos if I remember correctly. Lofi and Reverse, like most of the algos. Delay and Synth were a mixed bag. Synth was really kind of disappointment, it does not have Synth algos like other pedals. After the Sensitivity knob is set for the guitar, I would hit the strings and get something I would like but then the sound would not go away, it would just keep repeating until I hit the strings again, which is not really usable for what I do.
But maybe I just need to play with it more.
But Arcades GL is definitely my favorite GL thus far, that I've played.

What does the Ayahuasca provide that the Catalinbread Antichthon doesn't?cantremember wrote:I wouldn't waste your time or money.
