You carry a voltmeter to measure chassis to chassis potential between band members/microphones (or adhere to strict social distancing protocol) I hope? I've played in some super dodgy environments that produced some less than optimal conditions for a hair raising experience.

I like patchbays or vents to plug holes: https://risingracks.com/1u-vented-blank ... acer-19in/

Or better, as suggested above, fill it with more gear! hahaha

I used to play in an old ungrounded house. quite terrifying sometimes. we did one house show and one of the bands that were well-off brought in a couple of model T's. luckily nothing happened. I got confused at first what you were implying but i understand, nothing is ungrounded. I have EU-plugs which are symmetrical, sometimes you can get rid of nasty interference if you unplug a thing, rotate it 180 degrees, and plug it back in

man, I used to play in an ungrounded basement as well. it was usually fine, but if I played in socks and stood directly on the basement floor I'd get a tingly feeling in my fingers where I was touching the guitar strings lol. I learned pretty quickly to wear rubber soled shoes and keep a safe distance from the mic.

lol yeah, there's some gain happening. the Evans preamp is a weird super clean solid state pedal steel preamp, so it balances out the UltraLead and the SLO nicely

Yeah, the multi-tap delays were included later via the "plus" rom. Also introduced Ring mod, resonators, and sampling. It's really fun playing the resonators via midi.

I have to admit that I have a hard time breaking away from detuned/pitch shifted Plates though.

Probably a little bit blown out of proportion, but it's been said that the "Taj Mahal" preset is the sound of early 90's Warp. I can attest that switching the reverb type to "Plate" on Taj Mahal does get pretty close to some characteristics of "Amber" era ae.
