I can't watch too much of this or I'm going to be emptying my bank account, this is a wonderful first dive.

New firmware for Pamela's New workout is :!!!:
Been jamming on it with my Squid Salmple and it is probably going to lead to me taking Scales out of my Palette.

Ordered a Beast's Chalkboard and going to try to snag a FX Aid if possible. None of my oscillators really have octave switches and it turns out that's a feature I need.

Yo, what are you doing with the new firmware? I just read the change log. QUANT seems interesting...

Nothing too crazy yet. Mostly using it like a quantized Turing machine, but it should totally be possible to use it as an arpeggiator too. There are a lot of bug fixes too that should make things like rotating the outputs work better.

So I had been struggling a little bit working Mangrove into my rack as a voice. It sounds cool on its own but doesn’t necessarily blend well with resonant chord stabs and lots of percussion (at least I haven’t figured out that aspect yet).

BUT then I did some reading over on a lines thread about 2 Mangroves as a complex oscillator, as Mangrove itself is a great modulation oscillator. I hooked it up into the FM input of Just Friends and whoooooaaaa buddy, that’s the stuff. Throw it in formant mode, play around with ratios of 2/3/4:1, and get some melody transposition going by playing with the formant knob while barrel is set to utone. This will definitely become a regular patch for me. There’s a lot of cool tones in there.

Damn this will get me playing with my Pams a bit more. Can't wait!

I may be looking for drama in quarantine but I'm hoping this thread metasonix started on MW stays on track with everyone telling them how lame their attitude is.
