It only has 5 cross-rails, like the Pedaltrain, but they're adjustable, so maybe you can get somewhere with that. It's been a while since I looked into this, but when I did, I quite preferred the Pedalbay in general. I think I have a 60L or something like that.
Honestly, I had no idea about Pedalbay 80, I'm going to do a research about it.
goroth wrote:Easiest way to plan a pedaltrain and see if it actually works is to get a sheet of cardboard or butchers paper, cut it out, rule a couple of lines on there for the slats and start arranging your pedals. Doing it this way also means you can see if the ergonomics are fucked, or if you've got room for your cables etc.
I know this is going to sound silly but I haven't found the exact measures of the rails and most important the space between the rails, specially in the case of the Novo 32.

If you're too lazy to draw on the cardboard, you can also use this: http://pedalboardplanner.com/

 no, I actually did draw other things, and Pedalboard Planner is not recommended at all (I put two Boss pedals together and they had different sizes, unacceptable), Pedal Playground is better, my problem is that I haven't found the exact measures of the rails and the gap between the rails, specially in the case of the Novo 32... so, if anyone here owns that pedalboard please let me know because I need those measures, thanks.

Yeah! So I had a big muff shell lying around I figured it would actually save pedalboard space to cram my 3 favorite dirt pedals into it. This is a 2knob green ringer, 2knob silicon fuzz face and a 1 knob speaker cranker. I am very pleased with it visually and also practically because I just needed all those dirts right there next to the looper.

I might do the same idea again but use the actual big muff circuit, or possibly a large fuzz face shell(but less knobs, fuzz face looks cooler with only 2 or 3 knobs) but basically all fuzz sound great combined with a ringer and a cranker like this!

I've got a Novo 24 I could measure for you when I get home. I think it's the same rail spacing, the 32 is just wider

Oh, pedal playground was the one that I was actually thinking of - the other link was just the one that came up on search and I did not realise there were competing websites what a world.

Excellent idea and execution. I’ve been thinking of putting together a clone of a really nice pimped up big muff and sticking it in one of those big boxes. Big boxes own

In this case i'd recommend the Palmer pedalbays because you can move the rails to whatever position you like, but at the same time - after having tried it a few months ago - i won't recommend those huge boards (and i mean all of them, PT, PLAMER, etc) to anyone who plays shows or moves the board a lot for rehersals etc, because they are HEAVY. AS. FUCK.

Or do what I did, figure out the size you need for your setup (and account for expansions?), figure out how much room underneath your PSUs need, and order a custom wood board. I knew I didn’t need a flight case or anything so it was reasonable compared to a new Pedaltrain Pro w/ the softcase, for example. I got mine from Moon Custom Cabinetry.

yeah lol, I know it makes zero sense looking at it but I found the DD500 looper has to be always at my right foot even though its last in signal chain.

Love this board.

Tell me about the catalinbread belle epoch deluxe - it such a unique sounding delay which puts it at the top of my list of what I might want to grab. How do you like it ?

I love the Belle Epoch Deluxe and mainly use it for a surfy slap back sound.
The pre-amp really adds something to my sound.
I use the record level and echo volume nice and low.

It's hard to turn off actually.
