How is there not an MAE thread?

How did we end up here?
Where did we go wrong ILF?

Still borrowing Vidret's Grime Deluxe and I own a Titan. Wanna try a Part Garden at some point (etched plz!) if I can find one at a good price. Alec is also helping me with my next pedal, so overall MAE is just top tier person and builder. This be good thread! :thumb:

Why doesn't he have a spot in shark tank? The Maybe? and Black Math both look cool. Been on the look out for that blackout version since I missed out when they were originally released.

YES! is my crazy freakout fuzz of choice lately.

The vibe I get from MAE is: Imagine if Effector 13 was run by a sane and competent person...

I've also got Part Garden, NO. and #RIP. which was put out under the Dropping Acid banner but I understand MAE was somewhat responsible for. They're all real good.

I am big fan of MAE! This seems to be the company that I impulse buy pedals from the most and I am never disappointed.

I have owned a NO., Titan, and the Maybe arrived yesterday. Having both the Yes cascading into the No allows for some disgusting tones and I mean that in the best way possible.

I really want to try a Part Garden and the Eldritch Blast collaboration with EAE.

I impulse bought a no knob rat, with asymmetric led clipping, and the build quality is stunning, I got a sick guitar pick, and I got to chat with Alec.

I don’t need any other gear, and the Pest Tattern has removed my desire for crazy fuzz (because it won that competition) - but man... Im definitely gonna impulse buy more stuff.

Don't do it raptorman, think of the V!
But if MAE is at least partially responsible for the #RIP
then I understand the temptation
aural conjunctions on SC

I think the Maybe is a good example of why I like MAE - apart from the actual work/attention to detail/general attitude as previously mentioned. It's a fuzz that shouldn't work soundwise - it's layers on layers of filth, but it still sounds musical. That's what I dig, and what not everyone is able to do, even if the pedals have cool features or are well made. The Stomping Stones Virus is another one that is bonkers but sounds primo in a way it doesn't have any right to. But that's for another thread.
