I was very intrigued by the Phantom Operator when it came out but couldn't afford it at the time. Must remember to dig around and see if someone's done a ZOIA knockoff patch.
I've generously allowed myself the rest of the year to get my head round the Zoia :)

I reckon I'm going to need it.

I've downloaded most of the patches which looked interesting and I like somewhere around a dozen in total, so I'm going to spend a little time sorting out a definite final folder containing everything I like before I start learning how to make my own patches.

I reckon if I can put together 20 - 30 patches that I really like then it'll be worth what I've spent on it, fewer than 20 and it'll be a bit of a disappointment.

It'll never be a total failure because the last two albums I put up on Bandcamp had it all over them - I've stopped spamming everywhere when I release an album for now because there are just too damn many of them :thumb:

I made 32 albums and around 200 tracks last year and I've done 29 albums and 221 tracks already this year, which is way too much but I don't have much else to do right now and I still really like what I'm making :)

I often start my day listening to three or four albums as I find them relatively easy to listen to, as they don't need a lot of concentration.

Ok I settled on this one. If the body ever gets here, it has been "departed from new york" for a month now  i just gotta settle on middle pupper. The neck pickup is a bill lawrence "the original" (idk what its like. some eople say its good. it was 40 bucks). Starting to think what options would be the best, im pretty middle pickup heavy. Either just a good strat pickup or something hotter i could split or tap for more tones. Although! I have been pondering if I want maybe a lipstick. Been looking way too hard at danos lately. Just gotta keep my mind of the fact that the neck has been hanging here for a couple weeks now and the body has went from the states to somewhere.

Also need suggestions on a good sticker to make the kirstiecaster complete

Finally got my dirty little mitts on a Part Garden!
Image

Yea, this is an interesting one. Originally I thought I was gonna use this as my main high gain drive with the plumes, but I actually like it more with lower gain going into something else. It does this really beautiful fuzzy overdrive sound with I and II tuned low. That going into my Hoof is grindy as all hell and I l o v e it. The texture knob and YUH switch are where this really gets interesting tho. Even on low settings you can make the Part Garden sound blown out as all hell and get into old school broken Devi Ever fuzz sounds that many of us here are familiar with.

Also, that Laowiz etch. The Pink and Seafoam Green look sick but COME ON MAN the etch is so good. :!!!: :!!!: :!!!:

So yea, the Part Garden stays. Now to wait for the LP Custom and see how they play... :doom:

Nice, nice! I'm waiting for my Laowiz etched Part Garden to get here (tomorrow maybe?!). Also heard good things about the lower gain settings, which is why I got interested in getting my grubby hands on one.

Lemme know what you think when you get it! Definitely seems like something that would be right up your alley man.

There are 10+ demos of it on youtube. I haven't had more than about 30 mins with it, but it definitely rips!

That pedal gives me such GAS. I love the MAYBE? - been thinking about the Black Math that's dropping on Friday.

Thursday should be a big pedal day for me. SSBS mini, Fairfield accountant and Pettyjohn Chime MKI (which I accidentally bought because it was such a steal) should all be arriving that day. Then the Champion Leccy Kilter I pre-ordered in January has just shipped, but that will likely take another week or two.
