Could this website be any slower?

Post by UglyCasanova »

In the last 3-4 weeks ILF has been extremely slow to load. Yo, what the fuck? Tom, ya need a new server, my Boi? Can we hook a brüther up?

The temptation to be like "yes, it could" and spam as many gifs as I can fit in a post is strong. But I have work.

it could be a whole lot worse. Dead Net Central often takes several entire minutes to load. it's become a meme among the posters there.

I thought maybe Apple updated my phone in the middle of the night, rendering it useless.

(basically this is the only website I actually check except for a few distros)

It's been kind of nostalgic, reliving the trauma of trying to load ILF on dialup-tier dormitory internet back in 2016 when every page was spammed with dozens of UG pics.

For real though, if a server upgrade is necessary I'd be happy to contribute what I can.

Tech is on it.

There's an alternate timeline where ILF wasn't permabanned from Adsense, our mods are paid, we're integrated across platforms, with an app, and it's fast as fuck. May that be comfort upon our weary souls.

I saw your statement thread before I saw this post and was wonderin' if I missed something. Makes sense now.

You should sticky that thread if you haven't already. :thumb:
