I left the flat for 45 minutes today, and when did they try to deliver the Clang?

After playing for a while, my ears were very fatigued. All the other gain pedals I had set to taste sounded muffled and dull. The high is no joke.
It's a delight.
Glad ya dig it! Yeah, 9'oclock is around unity if you dial everything up a bit. It's easy to forget just how loud it is until you go to bypass.

Finally picked mine up from the post office today! :!!!:

Had a quick try but not properly as it's still not 9am and I have work to do. First impression is that it really sounds like how I remember, except the switch in the middle position seems way cleaner than I remember it getting even with max input and lows/highs. :idk: All the great dirty sounds (and more than what the og did) are on the other switch positions though so not a complaint at all. Sounds great and happy that the switch seems to give more versatility than the original circuit.

Thanks Ian and digi2t for bringing this to the people :excellent: I'd also like to shout out just how great the colour finish looks in person. Amazing! :!!!:

After some exploration, I have mine always on at the end of the chain now. Toggle in the middle position, low input, mix at noon and low+high at 11, output to taste. It just makes everything more brilliant and sparkley with a bit of bite. It's great! :snax:

That's a cool use. I only played for 5 minutes as I said but I did really like some of the suuuper low gain sounds that were really just adding EQ and a tiny bit of bite (I just realised I said exactly what you said  ). I never used my Driving Notion for this I always had it dirty, but I could see myself using this more as a tone shaper sometimes for sure.

aaaargh. all those reviews and i have to wait another month to get mine ( i asked Ian to delay the shipping of my unit to august).
i want it mainly for low gain sounds so i'm happy to hear it works well for that, never thought of placing it at the end of the chain, but now i definitely want to try setting it up that way :snax:

I got my CLANG and all I can say is DANG what a fun pedal. Lots of nice tones, sparkle, awesome blown out lows and of course, clangs in the highs. At one point, I heard a little extra "modulation" in the sound and was digging it and I realized I had picked up a radio station of some sort faintly. I hope it always does that.

Cheers to Ian, super fast shipping, awesome run of pedals and doing things smoothly - period.

Got mine today and holy shit I don't think I can ever turn it off again. Everything sounds so dull and muddy when you turn it off. The stock setting sounds just like I remember the DN sounding, and the thick toggle was a really nice addition. I hit it really hard with some stuff and got some nice synthy fuzz tones, and then ran it into some other stuff and got the scrapey metallic thing that I love so much about the OG DN. Really amazing work.

Today the CLANG meets my fretless - super excited to hear what can be fine with this combo today. (There will be a Megalith involved too since I just got one again)
