You're in luck. Please sign up for our newsletter.
WOOOOOW! Yes Ryan!! :!!!:
I was hoping the thing Brian Cook teased would be phasy, but had given up on that as you where so secretive about it with all the guesses in the FB-group.
As far as the news letter goes I've been signed up for ages! :D So excited! The rest of you, do as he says! Sign up!

Oh btw. Can I spoil this in the Fb-group or should I keep it on the dl (as in not outside ILF)?

The new Mattoverse Just a Phase sounds pretty great. It's a pretty standard phaser, but has 8 different waveforms including random, so that would get you into unconventional terrirtory:

And then of course the Mid-Fi Electronics Random Phase and Vibrato:

I've messed with my new OBNE Dweller for a total or 2 hours or so, not nearly long enough to really learn what it can do for me. So far though, I like it.
I keep dialing it in for eery/dreamy delay sounds though, with stuttery phaser'd repeats.

Considering what I could buy for that money though, the way I'm using the dweller might not really justify the board space the pedal's taking.
My Nemesis is so powerfull for all kinds of shimmery post rock delay shit, with the noise and chaos of a live show I doubt anyone would really notice a difference bewteen the dweller or the closest sounding setting on the Nemesis.

So yeah, I'm not writing it off completely yet, not untill I've tested it with my band...but there's a good chance I'll be looking for a different modulation pedal soon :idk:
So I came here after seeing the new Death By Audio Speed Tripper (delay with a phaser in the feedback path), which made me think I could just invest in a phaser to put in my Rubberneck feedback path, but shit, this thing looks and sounds really cool too!

I wasn't really keeping a close eye on this, but I absolutely love my Bad Passenger and the Tremstortion has actually become one of my favourite pedals!

If you're lookin' for a Just A Phase, you may wanna jump on one soon. I just got Matt's weekly e-mail and he said the initial run sold out quickly. Some of his dealers have 'em and he's gonna build another batch of 15 as soon as he can get enclosures, but he doesn't have a reliable source for the vactrols. So, he's not sure when there'll be more after that.

That DBA Speed Tripper seems sick. In a way it seems like a slightly more straight forward version of the OBNE Dweller. Less interesting/weird too though. Which brings me to an update to my last comment on my Dweller. It's not the kind of pedal you want to review after a couple of hours. I just recently discovered what it's capable of. Might be just me, or maybe the learning curve is a bit steep, but after a while I did discover it's NOT a phaser, and it's also a lot more than a delay pedal with a phaser effect on the repeats.
It's not leaving my board any time soon.

Thnks for pointing out the Tremsortion btw, I happen to be in the marker for a tremelo pedal, the Tremstortion looks like a worthy candidate.

Good to know. I'm definitely highly interested in both the Speed Tripper and Dweller. I definitely highly recommend the Tremstortion. It's a very versatile tremolo, but the distortion (which can be used on its own by turning the depth down) is also pretty great.

Yes, but it's a very, very silly pedal. I've had mine for over a decade and it's still a challenge to dial in the same sound twice. It's also extra noisy and even more enormongous that the typical big box EHX, but it is definitely weird/unconventional. More interactive soundmaking experience than effects pedal.

Flanger Hoax has been on my "really want to try one day" pedal list. Don't know if it would ever make it onto my pedalboard, but I could see myself using it as a tabletop noise maker

I snagged one at a great price last year and it came with the manual, the analog man article on it that breaks down the dials and another article that tries to decipher it's functionality. It does have a challenging learning curve which makes me want to play with it more.

Drolo Moon Rabbit

has tap tempo and 8 different wave forms, voiced between a phaser and univibe. Lots of parameter control :excellent: plus expression pedal input :poke: .
