Quadraverb+ has vey controllable multitap (including individual regeneration and stereo field), but limited delay time. Regular Qverb doesn't do nearly as much.

Pitch algos are primitive and VERY limited.

I like the detune on the qv+ not a good sound but it's a sound! tasty janky out of tune

also damn what happened to se70 prices? last time i checked it only had value in the aggrotech scene for one preset

A lot of rack stuff went up a lot in the past couple years. Seems mainly like geezers into 80s cheese wanting to do their faux Bradshaw rig that they couldn’t afford back then. The 70 was a part of many of those because it had a bunch of good and useful algorithms. Roland, Korg, and Yamaha DDLs, SPX-90s, Roland SRV-2000 reverbs, and ADA MP-1s have found a new lease on life in the used market. And, with more justification, the Eventide H-3000 has gone crazy. (Wish I had splurged when they were under $1k.)

A bunch got more expensive simply because of the Gen X wannabe shoegaze crowd as well - they have the $$$.

They're buying hero worship gear too - it's why the Jazzmasters et al came back, it wasn't the boomers!

The hair metal was inevitable, I knew that when they started offering Slayer 25th Anniversary guitars and shit at Musician's Friend (even though they're not hair metal, the rest was going to follow, just like it did at the time!)
