He's having them printed to order, for something like $35, not sure of the quality.
It's worth mentioning that keyboard instruments like the harpsichord borrowed expressive techniques from plucked instruments, so Smith's Patent Box (Gizmotron ancestor?) could be regarded as 'paying back'.

I would say that New Complexity definitely fits this thread. A bit more complex (haha) than the other things here of course, but they look like amazing instruments. My sister was living in Australia for awhile and I tried to convince her to bring one back for me; unfortunately, they were a bit outside my budget at the time
So I 3D printed a Passerelle style bridge and it's really fun to play:
The model I found has a pretty good radius to it, so it's pretty nice for bowing too. Currently, I have it on my Gretsch, which is high-strung, but I think I might restring it back to normal to experiment more
