3Leaf Pedals - B-stock sales and finish problems

3Leaf Audio kinda went MIA during the pandemic, and was kind of that way leading into it as well. In any event, https://www.3leafaudio.com/ new message about the future. He did a B-stock drop the other day that sold out in a few hours, it looks like more might be made available on Monday.

Curious though about the finish issues and if anyone here knows a way to add a coating to protect the pedal or some other options? I suppose I could always get the case etched or something...? Looking for ideas on how to get one of these pedals and not have the graphics all fall off.

Just chew on the enclosure harder!

You could always take the pedal apart and apply a few passes of clear coat, but that might also look weird and out of joint (or better! for that just out of the shower look).

Pro etching is about $100 you will never get back (basically paying yourself to wait a month to say "cool!" to your almost-reflection on the pedal), or you can always try to remove the ink yourself (like the folded anodized Way Huge enclosures, the 3Leaf look easy to scrape away if you so desire) for about the price of absolutely free.

Cool stickers are still popular to apply and cost about $5 after tax for a few sheets, so maybe that's also an option

Spray paint is pretty good, too?

Or you can submerge it in epoxy like that one person did with that hot dog

Graphics falling off do look kinda cool, but I don't want it to get to just a blank box...although I guess that's kinda cool too? I am thinking a coat of clear spray, but then I wonder why wouldn't he do that himself if it solved the problem?
