So APRIL is the month where not one, but TWO DOD Death Metal clones hit the market. Dirt Monger Effects and Dunn Effects are both dropping them almost at the same time.

I’ll have to put aside my GAS for a space echo!

i knew there was something i was overlooking :snax:

also, like 90% of 2nd Gen Death Metals on Reverb right now are $69; while not the desired $22, or even $42, yeah, I approve :p

I have never understood this. I mean, obviously it is, what's there to understand. But still. The DM always sounds good. The grunge never sounds good. Incredible.

I bought a old timey DOD Grunge last year while all my stuff was in storage, I’ve been cranking it A LOT lately on bass. Lots of sustain, lots of tonal options…. I sort of picked it up cheap thinking it’d be shite but it’s a lot more fun that I imagined….

Now the Bass Grunge is actually not great. I got mine cheap because the switch was tempestuous and had a 3pdt put on, but I just don’t love it like I do the regular version. Even though it’s “more kvlt” it’s definitely not “more good”.

Think about it like a Devi design...Swap a couple parts, new effect  Like retinal said, the grunge is actually pretty good with bass. There's a rehouse 86 kicking around here that I need to fix. Squeals like crazy unless the treb is minimum :animal:
