1) that thing is sofa king rad
2) it seems particularly perverse to hawk DKs-associated gear @ collector's prices may East Bay Ray's golem haunt you for eternity :/
unless of course it's really EBR selling it on consignment or something, in which case that would be weird....

The 440 filter is currently $60 now, and the Meatbox and 250 OD are $75.
ok - so my only live gig sitch now and for the forseeable is me on guitar through a modeller into an frfr speaker w/ a drummer - nothing rad, theatrical setting with pop and rock style music - does a Meatbox do anything for me to fill out the sound on rock chunes? emphasizing - nothing doomy or metal or extreme in the book...just straight rock at its loudest end of the dynamic range.
???

I don’t think you need it. It enhances frequencies at 30 and 60 hz. The best use I found for it is to thicken up synth bass notes. I’m guessing at milder settings you won’t notice it much at all, and at more noticeable settings it will change the EQ balance of your guitar in a way that isn’t helpful. I could be wrong though.
Oh my, just sold one a couple weeks at what was market at that time, because it just isn't going to be on my board in the near future. But at that price, might just have to get a Meatbox to have around. Awesome pedal, especially after a pitch shifted down guitar, for playing bass on it. You see, this is why come back to ILF periodically. It's because of you fine folks that I found my love of the Meatbox. Ooof. Good thing I've sold a lot of excess gear this year, otherwise I might have to beat myself up for buying one of these back....
