Powering my pedalboard

Alright, I think I've tried long enough to figure this out on my own. Time to crowdsource.

I'm trying to figure out how to get power to my board discreetly (with power supply bricks like the voodoo labs stuff). The big problems im looking at are how to power both my original dl4 and the dl4 mkii I have coming with a power supply I can mount underneath my board. I know the DL4 mkII will come with an adapter, but eventually I want it all to be mounted under the board instead of having to use the wall wart.

Pedals I wanna get on the board:

I also have an afterneath that I could kick off the board.

What I wanna know I guess is how do I power all of these with power supplies I could mount under the board. I wanna avoid using an external wall wart if possible. I have a Voodoo labs pedal power 2 plus and a cioks adam currently.

the new ciosk 7 has a shit ton of current. i think it could knock away the PP+ hee hee peepee, it has daisy chain cables with it too so you wont have to worry about the bosses if you link em up. That is if you feel you can spend that much on a psu. if not idk, are you sure the line 6 is a wallwart and not that laptop thing like the OG ones? that would be pretty sleek to mount under the board

The hang is the 1000 mA on the OG DL-4 and the 500 mA on the new? If everything else is moderate current 9v DC, you just need a solution where the power supply will hit those marks. One Spot bricks are supposed to be cool exceeding the nominal current on the tap if you’re within the total current limit on the supply. Cioks has adapters that’ll let you use two taps to combine their current; the DC7 has a lot on tap, and if you or your pedals don’t like daisy chains you can add a 4 or 8 expander to work off one AC cord to wall voltage. (The Eventide PowerMax 2 and PowerMini are very slightly nerfed versions of the DC7 and 4 with slightly different cable kits that usually run cheaper in the US.)

Jesus fuck tho, that dc7 looks great. My PP2+ looks dated all of a sudden….If im reading the info about it correctly, one of the outlets on that would just power the DL4 mkII with no issues yea? Same with the og dl4? Or maybe that would need a doubler/one of those adapter plugs (the red or green ones, think cioks is red).

The old DL4 draws about 300mA and you can power it with a simple adapter from any 9V DC power supply. I think the new Harley Bentons are spectacular:

I've got the big one and power a FM4 with it. No issues, no noise problems, great quality and value. The idea of making them "modular" by being able to just directly plugging one in the other is brilliant, too. There's even a version with power sag dials for fuzz pedals.

I am a Truetone CS-series aficionado, have both the CS12 on the bigger board and the CS6 under the small one and never had any kind of problem powering all kinds of different pedals, even old EHX stuff and such.
The best part is that, although the different power outlets are marked with certain mA, the overall power of the brick is equally shared and goes wherever you need it. Ok I explained it very poorly, but for example, I use a 100mA power outlet to power a 250mA pedal without any problem.

just email them and ask. they were very helpful when i asked how to power my 24v ehx and i assume they have tons of user experience regarding the og dl4

The VooDoo Labs PP2+ has the power sag for taps 7 & 8.

The PP2+ also has an auxiliary AC outlet (max 200 watt rating) on the back.
You can check the manual to see what it can handle with it's various taps (1-8).
Taps 5 and 6 can give up to 250mA at 9V.

+1 for the cioks stuff. I have a DC7 on my desk that I use for tabletop pedals and my synths (elektrons/Soma). I have the eventide version under my pedalboard and its powering about 10 pedals. No issues with any of it.

+4 for Cioks. Couple of pedals which require bit more power, and with one AC on the board, works perfect plus lots of different options (AC10)

Reviving this thread to ask about the Cioks AC10. Does anyone know if the 800mA AC outputs on that are able to power an Alesis Midiverb II? I got one just sitting around and it would be nice to not have to buy an aftermarket wall wart.

doubt the device itself actually draws the maximum
as most devices do not
