Speaking of dubble guitars, I'd never seen this Peavey Hydra before today ($499 pickup only / MGR Kenosha, WI), but, sadly, the 12-string neck is warped  :

I am concerned about what Hard-Off locations (many, it seems) end up posting on L'eBay, as some of this stuff I wish I'd never seen & are probably my actual nightmares

But it's altogether possible that these auction photos are just reused from the Hard-Off auction site (too lazy to froogle it), since it's like a Goodwill for mostly electronic equipment in Japan, unless a local wants to correct me :hello:

Jim O'Rourke is a happy Hard-Off shop-in-store hunter, however, as I'm sure that's the kind of behavior that reaps the highest rewards:

I think you're supposed to decorate your phone charging cable with them. I wonder how many people bout one thinking it was a real pedal.

When I used to go to Japan for work I had good luck at the various Off stores.

It has a gimmick. Just like real pedals.

Cheap mostly functional analog drum machine out there. Fix it, hang a fuzz pedal & gate off the individual output, or simply live without snare/clap: https://reverb.com/item/62945819-arturi ... -sequencer.

Did some searching, and it turns out the noise source chip dies over time on the Drumbrute, causing the muffled sounds, and, finally, complete failure. Arturia has made good on replacement PCBs, however, but you do have to register the unit (some users sent the whole machine in, along with a $65 bench fee, for those who are PCB-shy). I threw this seller an offer, but was countered around $100 shipped (you should ask for less than that, FWIW), if anyone's interested :erm:

But after realizing this was the drum machine all over the transitional parts of Dose Your Dreams, I've decided to pass

Also, Arturia's been law of diminishing returns on my block since I sold my Minibrute, anyway, sooooo.... :(

Nice sleuthing! I wonder how difficult it would be to pipe in an external noise source. Hmmm, I'm holding fast on pedge.

Curiosity got the better of me over morning tea. Appears the chip failure was a condition of rev A of the original, it stands to reason they had that issue well sorted by the time of the Impact.
