DOD Rubberneck: need help!

I bought a Rubberneck second hand and the tails switch has no function. No matter how I set it, it always cuts off the repeats when entering bypass mode. I specifically chose the Rubberneck for the tails feature, so that's quite a bummer and I can only try to sell it on with probably a considerable loss. The pedal is quite popular round here so I thought I might as well ask: Am I missing something? Am I'm doing something wrong? Is this a some kind of bug with a common solution? I already tried contact cleaner with no effect. And yes, I asked the seller for a partial refund or to take it back, of course he doesn't answer anymore.

The fact that he doesn't answer might be indicative that the pedal had some faults even before.

I never had this problem on my Rubberneck. I tried to mess with it a few moments ago to see if there was any condition in which this problem was shown (I tried messing with the mini knobs near the switches setting feedback to minimum or else) but nah, it works like a charm.

This is probably not the issue, but try putting the Rubberneck on it's own power supply. If I recall, it can have problems if it's daisy chained.

Nah, I've tried it with several power supplies. There is something wrong. I found out how to report the seller and the issue to the platform. Let's see.

Don't even know if my Rubberneck had the same problem, I flipped it before I got the chance to run into issues besides the ones the bugged the hell outa me the two hours I tried it.
I guess for what I payed (pre-inflation, discount/sale) it shouldn't be a surprise, but it felt flimsy and cheap (controls, in/out plugs, and plugging in something into the fx loop would mess with the controls/parameters in a weird way.

There's just way too many sweet delay pedals out there these days to settle for something that's unreliable, imo

Hm, I don't know. I think it feels pretty good, is well built and sounds great. And there are not so many delays out there with those features. I was looking for an analog delay with modulation, tap tempo with subdivisions and tails. Most of them lack the latter.
